   Nice enough ambience although clearly a once soulful enterprise now gone corporate. Good and coffee fine although poached eggs over cooked. Waiter nice enough but front of house staff/ manager a little odd and unfriendly - i.e. literally dropping a spoon on our table and walking away without saying anything or again, when we opened a door to help him get a tray through, offering no acknowledgement at all. Still a nice enough place close to the centre of London.

   Nice menu and the food & coffee was very good. But service was very slow - we were consistently ignored and had to call over staff to order, for drinks and to pay - and not very friendly when said staff finally did come over. We felt like an inconvenience. We were also disappointed there was no children’s menu.

We also understand your disappointment about the lack of a children’s menu. While we don’t offer a separate one, all our menu options are available on our website for reference.    Lovely spot and delicious food. Service quite disappointing. Need to constantly chase to order food, then again for the bill, then again for someone to take payment. We would have easily ordered more drinks and cake if someone came to our table to ask.

   Nice brunch, good ingredients, well-cooked spinach - would have liked a second piece of toast under my beans, eggs, spinach, haloumi and so on but otherwise excellent

   This place is absolutely amazing, when we come to London we always prebook this for breakfast, booking is essential if you don't want to be disappointed or have to wait as they do get busy, very popular place because the food is great, service is second to none so friendly and attentive, presentation of the food, quality of the food and taste are all an experience of their own, The noise level can be a bit much when you first arrive but after a while it's as tho you adjust to it, I believe it's the building itself that creates the way noise is projected around the room as it has high ceilings at the southbank venue plus alot of metal. But it doesn't matter once have dined there once and experience the party of flavours in you mouth, the cakes and drinks are fantastic, I always have a hot chocolate which is so smooth.

   Lovely brunch experience with my family; a great choice of food including gluten free options for my husband. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great for us to catch up with my daughter and her fiancé. The service could have been a bit faster but we had loads to catch up on and the staff were friendly so that wasn’t a major issue. Great location round the corner from South Bank, The London Eye, London Dungeon etc so a good spot to visit all those things afterwards. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily eat there again.

    Absolutely gorgeous. Portion size good & food fabulous. I had the green eggs (scrambled eggs & smoked salmon on sourdough & other half had the bacon & egg bap with tea…very tasty!
