The Barn Kitchen offers a refined take on rustic American cuisine. Executive Chef Jon Butler focuses on influences from the nearby Coachella Valley, and the Barn Kitchen brings small local farms and the unique aspects of the desert to classic American favorites. We aim to create simple, uncomplicated cuisine by showcasing fresh California ingredients. By creating a communal dining atmosphere, we invite all of our guests to make meaningful connections and savor each experience.

The Barn Kitchen is open daily for lunch from 11 am – 2 pm and dinner from 5pm – 9pm. The bar remains open until 11 pm every day for hotel guests, serving a selection of microbrews, wine, and spirits. In the evening, gather around the fire pit for star gazing and smores. Outside guests must reserve a table for lunch and dinner.

Delicious food and lovely servers. Definitely recommend the market salad with salmon chicken mole, and the guac and chips. Nice wine list and selection of cocktails. Can’t wait to return!

Food and service were great, but there is not Air Conditioning (the AC split units are not sufficient) - had we known about the lack of AC we would have made a different choice on a hot September evening. Otherwise, great!

All employees including the chef made us feel very welcome for a delicious lunch. Large portions. The food, service & atmosphere were outstanding. They made us feel comfortable, and when they heard it was my birthday, they bakked choc chip cookies for us plus gave me a gift. Memorable first visit. Will return! Easy parking out front.

Great food and service. The pasta and burrata were our favorite dishes. Dress for the season, inside is cooled by fans and can get toasty. Will be back.

Beautiful, quiet intimate eating spot in the center of the 20 room unique and lovely quiet resort. Note restaurant is for 21 and over only.

This was our second time in under a month to have lunch. Understanding that the hotel primarily services to their clients and reservations are required for food service, it’s nice to be considered special, which the staff is excellent at doing. Our only disappointment was that we were hoping we could count on the food being as good the second time. The ham and geyser sandwich was so excellent, just not this time. We will try again! SERVICE!!! EXCELLENT!!!

The food here is always amazing but this past weekend the wait times for food and drinks was long. We waited over an hour for our food.

Cute restaurant. Staff was nice. Sadly the temperature in the restaurant was a little too uncomfortable to have a complete meal. Appreciate the courtesy of everyone.

It was very hot had the burata salad with amazing melon choices and presentation. As I was dining alone I sat at bar and was very comfortable. The staff was even more amazing friendly and honest…. I accidentally put down a 50 instead of a five and she ran me down, knowing that I made the mistake …..
