Service was fantastic
Food was delicious
We ate indoors at Annie, our first indoor dinner in a year. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to par. While the food overall was good, I found the portions tiny (and I’m not a big eater). When I saw how small my main course of scallops was, I ordered a side. By the time it came my scallops were cold. Ugh. Service was very indifferent, and the waiter was very hard to understand. Also, there were larger parties around us so it was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other. That said, the scallops were very good as was the flourless chocolate cake. But the food unfortunately didn’t make up for everything else that was lacking. I doubt I would go back.
Service was great! A bit tricky if you're not familiar with the parking but otherwise perfect.
We had a great time for our Easter celebration at Annie Cafe' in Houston
Easter brunch. Very good. Love the redecoration.
Great experience. First given table wasn’t too great but we ended up with a better table after. Overall, it was a great experience. I am definitely going here again in the future.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. The space is beautiful, including the outside patio, and the food and service are consistently good.
A wonderful experience and the food was delicious
good time enjoyed the food and the ambiance would defenitley come back
Our server Oscar was fantastic! Food was tasty and the setting for dining is beautiful. Will return again!
Great food in an impressive environment for business.
We were only in Houston for a couple of days and decided to go here. The food was DELICIOUS and the gentleman who took care of us, Chris, was very fun to chat with. The restaurant itself was also very nice.
Great food and service! The atmosphere is great, the patio/outside dining has great views. It was a little loud inside.
The evening was totally ruined because we were unable to hear one another on our table as they had set a large party near us that filled the room with an unbearable decibel
Great interior, friendly staff, amazing food. Would def recommend it!
Love the Annie! Fabulous food, incredible atmosphere. Will be back soon- highly recommend the coffee crusted filet :)
Excellent food and great ambiance. One of my favorite dinner spots!
The app showed that the restaurant closes at 9 pm on Sundays but in fact they close at 9.
Luckily we got there before our reservation at 8 and they were very attentive in receiving us and treating us very well.
Very good service, excellent food. The tuna ceviche was just ok bu the coffee crust filet and the pecan pie were superb.
Solid food beatifull terrace very good for the pandemic.
Overall a great experience, it was my first time there and I would go back! Waiter was polite, he just didn’t refill our waters which were empty, he did great on everything else though. The food was great and place itself was cute.
Way too noisy and dining room.
The food was delicious. We ordered oysters on the half shell, the chicken plate (can’t remember the entire title but it was chicken, cream sauce, bacon and onions) and scallops. So good! Our server mediocre. He didn’t seem passionate about delivering the service.
Very nice atmosphere and the noise level was perfect for a business discussion.
The food was not at all up to the standards I have had there before
Loved it was their for a bridesmaids proposal and didn’t let them know before hand they still made it feel super special the mariachi came over and played us a song and they wrote congratulations on my dessert plate ❤️
Loved it !
Really good taste
It was a great experience wonderful food and super staff
As always, The Annie Cafe & Bar delivered and met our expectations. We had a delightful dinner on the Terrace. The food was excellent and matched by the attentive service.
No one checked up on us often and drinks/dessert were not served in a timely matter.
Lovely time. Great food and service. And patio and social distancing for those of us still conscious of that.
The cocktails, food, and service were all amazing. Server had great recommendations. We will defined be back soon!!
Was good, food was smaller but still yummy.
It taught me that even if you go to a restaurant with a great reputation and a high price point it doesn’t guarantee that your food will be all that flavorful or well-seasoned.
My dinner was about $60 total with taxes and tip, but I wouldn’t recommend that restaurant nor be eager to go back to it.
I feel like I could’ve made a better dressing for the Caesar salad.
The crab cake reminded me of canned tuna.
The jalapeño cheddar grits didn’t have enough salt nor heat from the jalapeños. The heat from the jalopeno was minimal, and the cheese was bland AF. I feel like the grits were under cooked because they were still a little chewy.
I really wanted to like this place, as even celebrities have dined here in the past, but the food itself mediocre at best.
Excellent food. Loved the crab tostada appetizer! Cocktails also very good. The patio is on the 2nd floor so not impacted by street noise and is semi covered. We will return!
Wonderful outdoor dining experience with great food and great friends
Wonderful ambiance, delicious soup, lovely service
They improved over the last 5 years. Service has been great. Food probably in around top 30-40 in Houston. Still some work to be done to go above that.
I’ve been to Annie many times in the past. I enjoyed the Tenno Atkins they made to the restaurant. The bar area is spectacular, and I love the artwork in the main dining area. The noise level was a little much, but people were having a good time. I’m looking forward to coming back for Sunday brunch and sitting on the patio.
Service and food was average. Disappointed that it didn’t meet our expectations considering the hype.
Caesar salad mediocre but Pate and pimento cheese appetizers DELISH,...as were crabmeat nachos!
