Join The Annie Café & Bar for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve experience featuring The Richard Brown Band with vocals by Evelyn Rubio, Bob Luna, Joy Angel & Clayton Mabin! Don’t miss this fabulous night of dining, dancing and cocktails to ring in the New Year! We will be offering our full dinner menu as well as some holiday food & drink specials. Music begins at 7pm and goes through midnight. There will be 3 seatings this year at 5pm, 7pm and 9:15pm with a 2 hour limit at the 5 & 7pm seatings. An entertainment fee of $75/person at 7pm and $125/person at 9:15pm will be added to you bill and also includes a complimentary glass of Telmont Champagne. There will be no entertainment fee at the 5pm seating.

My wife and I came here for Sunday brunch to celebrate her birthday. It was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful decorations for the holidays, amazing meal and excellent service!

We have been long time diners of Cafe Annie / RDG / Annie Cafe, ever since it was on Westheimer. The food is always excellent and service is impeccable. We had a great time celebrating our SIL who was recently promoted. Our only complaint is a 3% fee to use a credit card? That seems a bit out of keeping for this level of restaurant. Who carries all that cash?

Very very poor service: 1. My guest was served soup but no spoon provided and guest had to find a spoon. 2. My guest ordered entree salad which never arrived and he had to leave table to get it. 3. I ordered salmon entree and food was not even warm.

Our breakfast with Santa was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The food was delicious, they offered an array of breakfast and lunch items. They had a sweets corner, a hot chocolate bar and a candy bar. We were entertained by a wonderful quartet and we got to experience time with Santa. I would definitely recommend this experience.

We came for breakfast with Santa. We do this every year with our daughter. We have tried a new place each year and this is by far the best one. We will come back every year for this event to the Annie café.

I took my dad for his 84 th birthday to a place he has never been. The waiter was fine at first but then became obnoxious with trying to over sell the menu. Service was fine, but the coffee tenderloin had no flavor. Sad since that was what my dad wanted and it was bad for me too. The worst part of the night was when we got the bill. They charged for the more expensive Chardonnay then what we ordered and then charged a 3% surcharge because we used a credit card to pay for a $680 bill vs cash. They said ( no warning on the menu) the prices in the menu are for cash payments. Who pays cash at high end Restaurants I will NEVER GO TO ANY OF THERE PLACES AGAIN.

Ther service was definitely off and lacked training. We had unusual wait times, even having to ask for the waitress so that we could order main courses. The staff lacked training and did not replace used utensils until we needed them and had to ask. Coffee service was awkward. The waitress just crowed coffee cups together instead of putting them with each guest at a proper place. I particularly did not like hearing the waitress explain the service was off due to being short staffed. I eat here frequently and this is not typical for Annie Caffe. I think it was just a bad day. We will definitely continue to return.

Good Overall. Not complaining just wasn’t very impressed. I was expecting more for what we spent. Very nice space…. Smelled like a funeral home inside but I think that was due to event that was going on when we weee there. Server was nice but seemed stretched by all the tables he had at the time.

Service was friendly but very, very slow. Had to ask twice for what we needed (lemon wedges, dessert menu) and chase down the waitress for our bill. Patrons should be informed that they will be charged the 3% credit card fee, not that it represents much, but as a courtesy as it is highly unusual for restaurants of that caliber to do so.

Perfect dinner! Super easy to get a reservation! Service was great and the food was even better!!! If you love pecan pie, definitely the best I’ve had in a while!! Definitely worth trying the tostadas as well! They were amazing!

I participated in a 5 course wine dinner. The food was exquisite, and the wine parings from the Rioja were excellent. Some of these wines were limited. It was a very special evening that I hope to repeat.

It's always nice to dine at the bar and watch a little sports and eat great food. Our bartenders, Nilu and Iris were fabulous. The kale salad. Red Snapper and Ahi Tuna were very tasty.

Bottom line: food was great, service not so. Our party of 5 were asked to wait a few minutes for the table to be ready when we arrived. The table was missing place settings once we were seated and we had to request missing items (napkins). The rooftop patio was beautiful. Our waitress was polite and nice but not knowledgeable about the menu. She was able to inquire and answer our menu questions eventually. Individual plates were placed and were dirty. We had to request new clean ones. Second round, only 3/5 plates were clean and our waitress returned to the kitchen to grab the 2 additional plates. The coffee selection was limited. Appetizers arrived prior to the drinks. Food took ~30 minutes to arrive and was delicious but small portions. Our check was split incorrectly initially and we waited while our waitress corrected the mistake. Overall, not what I expected from The Annie, an upscale establishment on Post Oak. Will likely not be returning.

Hey Annie! News flash! At your price point not many guests are paying cash for your bill and to charge your customers an additional 3% for a credit card is rude and greedy especially for your corporate accounts who are obviously not coming with cash. Carry cash is dangerous and unnecessary in this modern age. Perhaps you should reconsider this charge and not leave your customers with a sour taste after a nice meal. Not coming back until this is removed.

High caliber dining… Great service, beautiful environment! From larger parties to family brunch to cozy dates. Annie’s met all expectations from a classy dining establishment. Only minor drawback, which can be standard at chef proclaimed style restaurants is they weren’t willing to substitute for dietary restrictions such as low carb. That aside, I still recommend as they have a few options that work for most individual dietary plans.

Overall a great experience. The food was amazing and service was very good. My only complaint is that it is quite loud in the main dining room which made it difficult to hold a conversation without raising your voice and thus adding to the noise.
