   Was given every indication that this was the Alpenrose Dining Room--a quaint lovely quiet setting . It was not. It was the upstairs bar that was so loud with live calypso music (in a Swiss restaurant, why?) we left before ordering

   I understand that the hotel is going through a change in ownership and management, but that is not much of an excuse for a very limited menu, slow service, and poor quality food. Not having a menu online should have been a warning sign. Plus, the lunch menu that can be found online is inaccurate, especially since they aren’t open for lunch.

   This was not the best experience we have had at the Alpenhof. This was mainly because the quality of the food did not taste the same as before. Although most stuff was good, it was not amazing. In addition, some dishes were not super tasty. Having said that, the staff were very friendly, and it was a quiet ambiance because there were not many other people there.

   I was disappointed to find out that when we arrived for our lunch reservation at 1:30pm ,they did not open until 3pm, so no lunch. The next night we decided to try the Alpenhof for dinner. Very limited menu, food was fair. Our server was friendly. Music was very loud. The restaurant wasn't very busy, there was a small bar crowd. Not sure if I'd return again.

   The fondue is delicious. We were scraping the dish wishing there was more. We added the veggies and veal bratwurst. The service was very friendly. We would definitely recommend Alpenhof.

   Fondue is great and the Service is great too. Cost is resort mountain restaurant. I would go back.

   We went here for Thanksgiving dinner as it was advertised as a 3 course meal. No where (on the website or in the newspaper) did it mention a buffet. The buffet was okay, not what we expected, but okay. We had 3 servers come to our table...all of which forgot our tea, although they were all very pleasant. We did have to ask them to take our dirty dishes off of the table. Ambiance was fine. Overall just okay. Probably wouldn't recommend though.

    quaint, quiet, relaxing, excellent location and service; good menu selection, excellent service; great value; so good we went back the followong night for dinner. we highly recommend ASPENHOFF restaurant when you are in Jackson Hole
