Food was good. Service was terrible. They apparently don’t seat anyone not staying at the hotel. When I showed them my reservation on open table, they reluctantly sat us.
Everything from simply getting a glass of water to getting our check took forever.
Will never go back.
Ordered an underwhelming fondue and received slow forgetful service, not great.
Really all occasion place! We had a great time. Wonderful service. Friendly and fun waitress!
We went for lunch and breakfast! They don’t have apres but the food was great and the prices were the best in the village for what you get. Our server was very funny, you need a sense of humor to have the same opinion! I can see how they may get in trouble with some guests but we thought they were hilarious! Great time. Breakfast was 11/10
Easy breakfast on a powder day. Good deal for Jackson Hole!
Very good food and nice employees!
Not much to write home about. Food was OK, service was OK. For a German restaurant, their selection of German beers was minimal. Overall...MEH.
Nice German mountain country feel. We didn’t have the fondue but the other food was good. Nice nite out after ski day. Worth a try!
Alpenhof is such a fun lunch spot for skiers! The authentic menu and decor make for a very special experience; you really feel like you’re in a Swiss village. The restaurant dog is a real highlight too!
Excellent , classic alpine cuisine properly prepared.
Due to covid the ambiance is just not there but our food was great and so was the service!
Yummy fondue! Such a fun meal.
Food was far from even fair. How do you damage a Fondue? well it can be done. All of the items that accompany the fondue were cold, even the fondue itself was not hot, just warm.
The experience was very disappointing.
Service a bit slow
Excellent meal with wonderful service from Peter. Great wine at reasonable prices.
Wonderful as usual. It's out Christmas Eve tradition and the food and service are always consistently very good. Highly recommend for a special dinner or family outing.
The atmosphere was perfect, wait staff very attentive and the food was excellent. The waiter even went as far as holding the upstairs bar from closing in order to fulfill our drink orders. Bravo!
Peter is a fantastic waiter! Our fondue was great, and the schnitzel was also perfect. Will be back soon!
Very unique menu in a unique hotel! Love the fondue and schnitzel. Service was excellent!!
Not particularly authentic tasting and my steak was impossible to cut. We have never had a German meal that we didn’t love , so this was a first. Peder, our waiter, was excellent.
Great wait staff and good! Took COVID precautions seriously!
Great location, excellent service, menu and food. Really enjoyed the experience.
Our waiter Peter was outstanding. He was friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. The beef soup and the chicken Coq au Vin were delicious. We really enjoyed our dinner there.
Excellent service & delicious German Food. Attractive German atmosphere.
Cook was good, sauces were great. Poor ingredients. Fatty, grizzly.
The highlight was really our server, Peter. He was courteous, proficient and fun! The food was tasty but not beyond what you expect. The reassurance is charming inside, but the “socially distant” seating made it seem sparse. Would love to go back and try the fondue...no one in my party wanted it. The scent of the fondue from other tables was heavenly.
Menu is different due to Covid, but not updated online. Went for a specific fondue that’s on the menu, and they didn’t have it. Made a reservation at 8, but was told the kitchen closes at 8 when we arrived so we had to rush our order in. Overall it was a disappointing experience.
Great food, nice team !
Our waiter was amazing and we love the food and ambiance!
Fantastic location at the base of the mountains in Teton Village
Great food! Awesome outdoor seating!
I had a fabulous dinner with my girlfriends. We sat outside and watched the sunset over the mountains. Food was great and service was impeccable 😀
Meh....we had higher expectations for food and service. A sliced green apple, day old bread and extra $ for a sliced mushroom. We ordered the fondue expecting to be wowed, and even the bratwurst was forgotten. Best part of the meal was the Prosecco.
This place has gone totally downhill
The service was good and the food delicious!
Loved the food. Was fun to get a bit of Switzerland in Teton Village. If we did not live this far away, would be going there weekly. We did go 2 out of the 4 days we were there.
We sat outside and had a delicious meal!
Everything was wonderful except for the unrelenting yodeling background music.
Loved the fondue meal
for 2 and the amazing apple strudel dessert. Sat outside on the porch on a beautiful evening. Excellent service. Tables in compliance with social distancing guidelines. Would highly recommend.
Fondue is fabulous; schnitzel is delicious. Deserts are very good. Servers are attentive. A nice change from a normal restaurant.
