   This restaurant appears to have closed down. There was a note on the door saying the building had been repossessed.

   Everything served to us was apparently "delicious". That was ok the first time but not for every single dish - not just at our table but throughout the whole restaurant. On tasting, the food most certainly wasn't delicious. I just couldn't eat my trout. We left before having a chance to try the "delicious" desert.

   A formal setting but with warm service and beautifully presented (and great tasting) food. Tucked into a corner on Wandsworth Common, it is not the easiest restaurant to get to from Central London, but was worth the trip out. The menu is simple, but with plenty of diversity, with good fish and seafood options. The specials were interesting and offered with confidence by the waiter. Of particular note was the sirloin steak and the homemade VERY tasty lemon tart - lovely short pastry. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, this is probably down to it being a relatively recent venture (opening 3 months ago). I would recommend this for a romantic dinner for two and equally for a group of friends getting together for something more than a pub supper. With our Gourmet Society discount, this was exceptionally good value, though even without, it offers good value for money for a London venue.

   Food is less than average despite good presentation. Staff is kind but very slow. Won't go back

   4 of us went mid week and it was very quiet so nice to talk. Service was great with a very attentive and friendly waiter. Food beautifully presented. Soufflé was delicious but duck a little over cooked for the main. Can't comment on wine list- dry january!
