This New Year's Eve, The Alfred Tennyson will host a party that will not be forgotten, starting with a 3 course set menu in our First Floor Restaurant, with a glass of Champagne on arrival, then moving into the pub downstairs to dance the night away with a DJ, seeing midnight in with friends and family. This experience price will be £65 per person which includes the welcome drink, 3 courses plus access to the party afterwards. A discretionary service charge will be added to the final bill on conclusion of the meal. Open until 1:30am.

We love this pub. Had an amazing meal, you can tell thought really goes into all the dishes and the staff are lovely. Definitely recommend.

Nice environment for a pub lunch with friends. Location is also good for a coffee around the area.

I really wanted to love this pub. I’ve been once before and it was so nice but the second time we went it was disappointment after disappointment. Firstly it took a long time to get the wine we ordered. Then my husbands beer had a hair in it and the steak put down in front of me was cold. It took them over 15 mins to replace. The staff were nonchalant and just didn’t care at all. It took for the head of front of house to actually apologise but honestly I expected better. All in all terrible experience from somewhere in a location where we expected better.

The first time I've seen a restaurant that allocates its worst tables to those who make the effort to reserve and the best to those who don't reserve... with no possibility of change! The assigned table was at the very back of the restaurant, away from the fans, completely isolated. In addition, and again this was a first, we were served raw green bean salads (they had not been cooked beforehand by the chef who, we were told, recognized his mistake ). The salads were inedible! We also ordered a hamburger, which was completely mediocre. However, instead of green beans, we were offered a Niçoise salad…. super salty. Clearly the chef must not taste his dishes!! A commercial gesture was granted to us, in compensation for this catastrophic meal. Nice restaurant where you really shouldn't dine

Food was good and service attentive. The cigarette smoke from the tables outside came in through the windows and spoiled our experience. Would rather share tea than cancer with other patrons.

It’s Belgravia so you expect high prices. That said it does not bring enough value for the price. The food, which several years ago was remarkable, is fair at best. I’ll give it a miss next time. Too many great places in Kensington so I’ll pay the Uber fee and travel a couple miles.
