Thai Square Islington
Lovely food and service
Food was really good but the problem was you felt rushed to order main meal. We had a few starters and wanted to relax and have a min before ordering main meal. Staff keep looking to see if we had finished and kept coming over we felt that they wanted us to eat fast and go. It was a shame as the food was very nice.
Tables are so close together it was abit off putting. But the food and was amazing and so where the staff
Pad Thai was delicious as usual.
Service left a lot to be desired...
Thai Sq. Islington is really a lovely dining experience. The food is so tasteful and beautifully presented. The staff were amazing and so very polite. The early bird menu is great. I can't fault it. I have tried all the start let's and mains. I can't choose a favourite. Always a delight coming to this restaurant.
Terrible corn cakes... Refried. Portions were very small. We have been to the flagship Trafalgar Square branch and it is much better.
Another return visit to this restaurant. Never let's me down. Mother's Day meal which went down a treat. Thank you
Excellent food, staff are lovely and ambience is beautiful. Took my mum and son here for mother’s day and staff were very attentive and made sure we was happy with everything will definitely be coming back as food tasted beautiful even my fussy 7 yeR old enjoyed
Great Thai food. Good spot for meeting up in London
We had the Thai green curry dish which was beyond expectation. Everything we had was delicious. We were served immediately and the atmosphere overall was very good
Our 5th time back here, favourite Thai in London. Food compares to some of the best in the West End, only the portions are bigger and you get better value at Thai Square. Couldn’t recommend it more!
The service wasn't great. Food is ok but nothing absolutely fantastic. It's not worth the value.
The food was tasty and the decor very pleasant indeed with lots of indoor vegetation. If you've been to an upmarket Thai resort before, you'd probably agree their washrooms wouldn't look out of place there either! A pleasant lunch experience.
The staff was pleasant, service attentive and the food quickly served and tasty. Tamarind duck. Perfect. What’s not to like? I had a very good evening.
As an aside,I started with an Old Fashioned cocktail. Even that was great. Never before had it served under a glass dome of smoke. I was impressed.
I left the same feedback on Tripadvisor...
I thought the food was very good - fresh, nicely spiced, well-prepared. The staff were wholly unable to help (or even try to help) with the Wi-fi, which wasn’t working. We were slightly overcharged on the bill (about £3); I didn’t quibble, as I didn’t want a complaint to be the way the evening ended for my guests. Despite that, though, I’d go again.
I have been few times now, the food is alright, as expected of restaurant chain. The service is just bad, it probably takes another year before I go back
Food was excellent
Had the lunch special with a Japanese egg added - which was odd and dud the really work but it was all pretty good and pretty good value.
The drunken noodles was good, but the jungle curry was not impressive at all. It was spicy but that's all there was to it. It barely had any other flavours and it wasn't well cooked.
The dessert took so long to arrive although it did taste really nice.
Overall it was an okay experience but it certainly wasn't worth all that money
Healthy, tasty and well presented Thai food.
Staff were very good and helpful
Menu was great
Thai Square Angel - okay for a spot of lunch but don't go there for a special occasion.
My partner and I went for lunch and we chose the dumplings and salt and chilli squid to start, followed by Pad Thai and Prawn Panang Curry for main. The chilli squid was ok, the fat hadn't been properly soaked off the squid. The dumplings were meh.
The prawn Panang Curry was delicious, a definite must if you go to Thai Square. However, the Pad Thai didn't have much flavour and was a little disappointing.
Great food very nice area with a beautiful decor
Great authentic Thai food!! Great service and fab cocktails! Lovely decor and ambience!! A really good night!
Fantastic food, reminded me of being back in Thailand. Great staff too.
We went to the Thai Square Angel for a New year's eve meal, & we weren't disappointed at all. The restaurant has recently undergone a refurbishment and looks great. The food was very good, & the bar upstairs was nice, with good cocktails.
The food is always great at Thai Square restaurants.
Great service Thank you we really enjoyed the food.
Overall good Thai restaurant with good vegetarian options. Very good Thai wine.
A rather busy venue for a Friday evening. Staff was still warm and friendly.
Great evening out with great food. Cocktails were amazing too
Original decor, liked the Thai wine, never tried before. Food was alright but nothing spectacular, service could be more enthusiastic.
Food was good overall but the service needs to be looked at. We was a group of 3 people sharing a table for 2.
We had a reservation but was given our table 45mins late
Food was delicious
Love the green thai, salt ant pepper squid is like fireworks in your mouth and the cocktails are bang on! Lol though i left a birthday card on the table with a gift voucher inside and believe one of the staff swiped it before i called to ask. Not cool!
Attentive staff, quick service (which was what I was after) and, most importantly, quality food. Will be back for sure.
Great food, lovely waiter and waitress and surrounded by beautiful flowers as staff were preparing for a private party. Highly recommend.
Food was absolutely delicious although portions are not very big. Service was not very friendly but good enough. I would go back.
Everyone knows Thai Square. It did what it says on the tin
Most reliable in quality and value for money.
