   I took my Mom here for her Birthday lunch. The people who work there are very friendly. The decor was warm and inviting. We both loved our food. My Mom ordered the French toast with duck and I ordered a salad with albacore. We give this place 👍👍👍👍👍

   I feel like Mix-Mix is not sure who it wants to be. It has appetizers/tapas all for $9, small plates, entrees, and about the same number of each (5 or 6). It has a nice wine list and water, but I didn't see any other beverages listed on the menu. It also has a fixed price for a three course lunch that is a bargain at $20 compared to what you'd pay if you purchased separately. My problem was choosing something that wasn't spicy. Many items looked good until I read the description which more often than not included siracha (sp?) or other hot pepper seasoning so if you like spicy, you'll have a larger range to order from than I did. I ordered the goat cheese appetizer ($) which was one slice of toasted French bread, goat cheese, halved grapes, toasted almonds and some fresh herbs -- it was delicious. My friend ordered the lunch special consisting of a salad (very good), a margarita pizza -- almost perfect, but they over-salted the crust edges and the sauce left my mouth on fire. It came with ice cream or sorbet and she requested the sorbet -- they brought the check and she reminded them about the sorbet that hadn't been served. I can't imagine what the service would be like if they were busy. Our server was very nice, frequent water refills, but when we needed someone, we couldn't seem to get anyone's attention. The food is very fresh and the menu changes frequently to serve what's in season -- but they don't always keep their online menu up-to-date with what they're actually serving.

   The food here is very solid—flavor, plating and portion but nothing is over the top or special. The pricing is affordable and reasonable. Cutlery, furnishings and plates used were sub-par and does not leave a good impression.

   This eclectic can't-miss menu is served by a friendly, efficient and knowledgable staff in a delightful, comfortable and quiet environment. I can't recommend it enough. They successfully transformed French toast (my favorite) from a ho-hum brunch staple to an art form. Love it!

    Came in late afternoon pre-dinner for a light refreshment and a dessert. Food was fantastic, waiter was friendly, and general setting was laid back and relaxing. Reasonably priced. And infant in stroller friendly! Had a good time and will definitely come back for their prix fixe menu and chef's tasting menu. You won't regret if you are for fusion food. Hands down my new fave after bazarr by Jose Andres.
