Under Chef J. Steve Brockman’s direction, Ten 3 is poised to join the area’s distinct, burgeoning culinary landscape. Our menu features international, Mediterranean, New Mexican, and American dishes, all thoughtfully and responsibly prepared from scratch, emphasizing the unique flavors of the region, and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We strive for straightforward beauty in every dish with the hopes that each bite will create moments of communal joy you’ll want to return to time and time again.
Although the alpine dining experience can present amazing opportunities to create lasting memories, weather can occasionally present unexpected challenges related to our remote tram access - please be patient with the rare and unavoidable delays or cancellations that may result due to high winds or adverse weather conditions.
I couldn’t find a place to request seating by the window on the internet but when we got to ten 3 I asked if we could have a table by the window & the hostess checked & said a give us a few minutes to clean off the table & we had a great view. The food was really tasty & the ambiance was great. Waitress was attentive and pleasant.
Together with friends
Our experience was aligned to what we heard from the Tram operator on the way down. The staffing is limited Mon-Thur, compared to Fri & Sat. Although our server, Jamie V, was exceptionally outstanding, the kitchen made multiple mistakes and the beverage service was awful. Refills were only by request and once totally forgotten, having to ask the server for another beverage. The dining room was 50% occupied 6-8 pm, but felt as though the staff was overwhelmed. Other guests in the Tram car commented on how the busy bar was very slow due to only 2 bartenders also overwhelmed. My advice is to try Fri or Sat to hopefully get better service. Again, my server was awesome! The pork chops were a bit dry cooked at medium. The filet and salmon were better and nearby ribeyes looked delicious. The dessert menu has room for improvement and appears to have been created in a rush. The bread baskets and salted butter were a highlight of the entire meal, absolutely delicious. Kudos to whomever is responsible for the breads and accompanied butter. The chilled dessert spoons were also a pleasant surprise.
Very nice view and excellent service
Great views, great service, good drinks. Very pricey entrees, but very tasty (except for one grilled carrot that was completely charred yet inexplicably stilled served.) Lamb was most expensive yet had the smallest portion of our group's three entrees. Still a nice treat for special occasions.
Got lucky! Storm closed the Tram. Allowing us to take our time enjoying the view (a New Mexico thunderstorm from 10,300 feet), drinks, and food. Clementine was friendly. We enjoyed her spirit and recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful Anniversary dinner experience.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and could not have been more please for our date! It was one of the best nights we have been on in awhile! Great food, service, and ambiance! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion! I have seen reviews about people complaining about price but I thought it was well worth it for the whole package!
Love the elegance of the place, the view was gorgeous.
Great experience, but you pay for it---tram tickets on top of dinner. Fortunately, everything about the experience was outstanding! Great food, amazing location and building, great hospitality!
Food was over cooked. Waitress didn't check on us until we were done. Over priced. Not accommodating at all. Did not receive food per menu (no mashed potatoes).
Beautiful views, amazing food, excellent service. We had a table by the window that was breathtaking.
The food and drinks are fantastic. It's apparent that it's still a relatively new place (our drink menu was a cover only, no menu pages) and we had to wait for a table for our reservation (but not too long). Overall, this place is awesome. It would be nice to get a free/discounted tram ticket if you're going to drop $100/person (dinner, 2 drinks, tip and tax), but it's a great special occasion restaurant. Oh, and the views are killer.
This is definitely something to do while you are in Albuquerque.
Need a menu with more selections
Brussel sprouts were alittle hard. Overall
I would definitely return.
This is our second time to Ten-3. We were there opening night and had a reservation made for a Saturday a few weeks later to celebrate my husbands birthday. After opening night, we weren’t sure we’d go back, but we’re VERY glad we decided to give it a second chance. Our food came out perfect, the service has definitely improved, and our drinks were perfect. Our waiter was incredibly polite and knew what he was doing. I would’ve given five stars, but I feel we need to go one more time before I commit to a five star review.
It was a nice experience. Would have been amazing if the ladies checking customers in for the Tram were not so rude and condescending. One lady just gave us a lot of attitude. I understand that we all have our days but when you work customer service you need to learn how to suck it up and treat the customer with kindness and respect. Luckily my wife and I took a few deep breaths and shook it off. We had a great time on the Tram then at the top had a really good time while celebrating being happy in Love. Food was amazing and the service was great. I highly recommend it. When we were done the ride down was nice. Sadly the last thing we thought about was the lady that checked us in for the tram. The service at the bottom of the mountain didn’t reflect the service up top. (Kinda ghetto) My wife and I think that they should really do something to elevate how people are treated from the bottom up. The lady at the bottom put a sour taste in our mouths.
Disappointing birthday dinner. We were a party of four -pre dinner drinks in the bar were good and there is an extensive menu of drinks and bar food. We regretted not staying in the bar as the ambiance is nice and views outstanding.
We requested a quiet table by the window. Unfortunately we got a noisy table by the open kitchen. This is where we witnessed the food being handled with bare hands and some far from clean preparation of food. Wait staff were delightful but service was slow. Rack of loin $50 served with charred carrots was ‘the worst lamb my husband had ever tasted’ and a tiny portion! The pork was apparently good and the chicken and beef were ok but this is not fine dining. We were told on the phone before we came that there was a dress code -smart business casual! A joke. No one adhered to this including hostess who was in Lycra leggings! This is NM so a dress code seems over the top. Tram tickets not included in price of dinner so 50$ tickets for two made this an expensive evening. They recognize birthdays by writing on desert plate if you buy a dessert! We bought two desserts between four and they charged us $2 extra to share!
When we mentioned our concerns to management it was not handled well.
We won’t return and will not recommend to friends. Such a shame -we’d been so looking forward to this restaurant opening. Can only hope they will improve when they have been open longer. The building and decor is lovely. Such a shame.
Excellent food, service and ambiance! Just a little pricey. Gasped when saw $28 for Angeks envy Bourbon on bill. Think should get a food credit per person towards food/drink since tram ride not discounted if having dinner. They do this @ Alyeaska resort in Alaska...they give $20 food/drink credit and Tram ride is $32....if make advanced dinner reservations Tram is free.
We’ve arrived early, but was refused to seat us until our exact reservation time. Awesome views all around the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and courteous. Provided an excellent customer service. It took long time for our food to arrive, but we were not disappointed. Food was wonderfully delicious..Did not care for bread. They were cold and salty.
We had a wonderful meal here for our wedding anniversary. Our waitress was Sky, who was attentive and friendly. We had the brussel sprouts to start (from the bar menu which Sky was nice enough to let us order from in the fine dining area), I had the pork and my husband had the red chile buffalo short ribs. We both loved our food. For dessert we had the panna cotta which was also excellent. Overall we spent about what I expected for a higher end meal in Albuquerque, although the tram ride cost automatically pushes it over average. The place is beautiful and we watched the sun set in spectacular fashion. I have seen some of the bad reviews for this place which is really unfortunate - we were lucky to have a memorable experience here. We'll be back in a few weeks for a birthday which I'm looking forward to! P.S. - add some more Marble to your drinks menu!
Yes, expensive but we'll worth it! Food was excellent. Very unique. Great service. We will go back again soon.
Great food and customer service! The views and atmosphere were outstanding as well!
Fine food in an exceptional ambiance. Add very good food + service + ambiance + view and the sum equals MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE!
The views are fantastic! However, we had a 7:30 reservation and had a 45 minute delay. We tried to get a drink at the bar but we were very rudely removed from the seats because the seats at the bar are also reserved? We could not get a drink while we waited! The hostess at the restaurant was awesome but the staff at the bar and the reception host for the bar were extremely rude.
Thomas was exceptional and pampered us. Staff was great, prime rib cooked to perfection and was a very large portion. For a special occasion this is the to go place!! View was romantic as well as the interior ambiance. We will go back. Thank you to your staff!!!
Really awesome experience. Fantastic service (thanks TJ!), amazing ambience and really lovely food.
Definitely my top special occasion spot from here on out.
The food was amazing. The wait staff was kind, courteous and professional. The view was amazing! We had a wonderful time.
First thing maybe to add to the website is the fee to get access into the park 3.00 cash but they are nice enough to still allow you in but you pay it with your tram ticket and have to walk it back to your car. If its a holiday allow more time to ride the tram up because its about an hour wait to go up and come down. When we sat down the people next to us complained about the food and walked out so I was a little scared. But the food was amazing, Sky our waitress was wonderful. I would go back again and again. I had a wonderful night! Thank you
I'm still amazed that they were able to pull this off. The place is welcoming, with views to west AND east. Not much can be done about the noise level. Hard to hear when trying to tell each other what a good time you're having. Portions are large enough to share and our variety of food was all delicious.
Tram wait time was biggest problem on a busy weekend. Over an hour early at base and almost late.
Hope to be able to return for another special day and see our great server James.
Best new dining experience in town. Food was as superb as the amazing view of the sunset from our table next to the window. Strawberry salad and rib eye were among our favorites. Service was top notch but just know you depend on the tram to arrive on time. Holiday weekend was busy so plan accordingly. Looking forward to next time, hopefully before winter! ( pro tip - wear a jacket since it can be 15 degrees colder and windy at the top)
Delightful and memorable experience dining at the top of Sandia!
We enjoyed our experience dining at Ten 3! We had drinks at the bar before dinner & then we’re seated by the window. Jamie V. was our server and she was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. Food was very tasty (Pork belly, NM Paella, Filet & side of mushrooms & Swiss chard). Only thing I’d recommend is your tram ticket should give you $5 off like it does for Sandiago’s restaurant at the bottom. 👍
We had a wonderful experience at Ten Three.
It does get expensive with $3 parking at the base.....and $25 (per person) round trip on the tram.
The food is expensive. However, for this level of dining ...it isn’t outrageous
It is a gorgeous restaurant and the staff were friendly and attentive....just be prepared to $$$$$ when the bill comes for the experience
For reservations more than 6 people you will be seated at separate tables, no they will not combine tables. We had asked for tables against the window when we had made the reservations(2/ 1/2 weeks prior to date) however we were seated in a different area. The staff seemed very nervous but were still pleasant. A bit pricey for the food that is served, a bit more than Ruth Chris. Also, you will not get a discounted tram ride ticket for making reservations with 10-3 like they use to with the old High Finance restaurant.
Waiting at the bar for our table the service was slow and the wine glass dirty
Are used to eat at the high finance at least once a month the new addition of 10 three restaurant Is elegant and the food is incredible.
A big change from more of a ski lodge dining area into an ally get fine dining restaurant.
My fiancé and I Enjoyed our entire evening.
The food and the views were excellent. It is breathtaking to see the city lights from the deck after sundown. The website recommends to arrive at the tram at least 30 minutes before your reservation. We did that but were about 10 minutes late to the restaurant, so I'd recommend at least 45 minutes. Definitely worth the trip up the mountain.
The view was spectacular, especially at sunset. The food was below average. Onions in the onion soup were boiled not sautéed until golden brown, just boiled and mushy. Everything was undersalted AND every was cold. I would love to recommend it to a friend but I would say go watch the sunset on Sandi’s peak just by itself. And you get to pay for the full ride on the tram on top of the restaurant costs.
The service and food was amazing. Sky the server very professional. Everything from appetizer to dessert was excellent. The ribeye was a beautiful piece of meat. The view definitely didn’t disappoint.
Our waiter was either overwhelmed with tables, new or just not very good. Everything else was as expected. Will go back.
