   My mom and I flew from EWR to TPA to celebrate the youngest of four 60th birthday. Despite missing the shuttle from the parking area out to the end of the pier, it was well worth the walk. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Menu was perfectly balanced. Food was excellent and service was superior. Fortunately, the shuttle was in sync with our departure.

   All around awesome experience waiter was fantastic. The food was delicious. Everything was perfection. The view was stunning. Just a all-around great environment.

   We have been to Teak numerous times. Unfortunately our server, Lauren, who we were very patient with since she was serving with a foot injury and wearing a boot which slowed her down, but this was no excuse for not knowing the menu and certain ingredient descriptions. We placed our drink order and when she eventually brought the drinks we gave her our order. Two of the 4 of us were having a salad to start. We never saw Lauren again until she brought all the food together. Entrees with the starter salads! Not professional…she never asked if we wanted the salads with our entrees or as starters. In addition, she brought the entrees/salads on the same tray with some dirty dishes she collected from a vacated table along the way!!!😳 She kept coming by to ask if everything was good but pushing a second round of drinks several times. Eventually she brought a dessert menu, set it on the table and after 10 minutes we flagged her down to get our bills. She never came back to ask if we had decided on dessert. She mentioned that the tip was already included in the bill which is Teak’s normal practice. Too bad we could not adjust the % down a few points since she clearly needed a lot more training to be on the floor serving. Shame on management in this case!

   The food and service was wonderful. The scenery is beautiful. I loved the special touch of receiving a surprise Happy Anniversary dessert. It made our day even more special.

   For a restaurant to validate charging 20% service fee, they should have an amazing staff. Our young female waitress was horrible. The place was empty, only one other table was occupied. Yet, it took her forever to serve the meal, never asking if things were ok and I had to wave down another worker to get a drink. Maybe this restaurant needs to pay their people better and not force 20% tips for poor service. I’ll gladly pay a great tip for good service. But when you’re forced to give a tip the staff doesn’t care about good service. Food was fine. Not great, but good. Views and ambience are great. Will not be returning, not worth the process of getting to the location.

   Amazing restaurant with an amazing service. The food is incredible with a great view of the skyline. Is a must for St. Pete!!!

    We had a wonderful experience having lunch at Teak to celebrate a birthday. The waitress, Bridget was amazing and the food was delicious! We will definitely be returning!
