Excellent dinner, service and food quality. It was our anniversary, so looking forward to a nice location with views. We each had the Clam Chowder, split a Wedge Salad, my wife had the Mahi, I had the Filet Mignon, cooked perfectly. The staff acknowledged our anniversary and even gave us a free dessert. We will definitely be back!

We eat at Teak every year during our annual family vacation to Florida. This year, we were handed a card informing us about a 20% service charge added to each bill. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not opposed to a service charge and appreciate being informed about it ahead of time with the option to add an additional tip. Unfortunately, this restaurant has become one where everyone acts like they’re guaranteed their 20% and they don’t need to earn it. The service and food were not up to the standards of the past. The polenta was like jell-o, the grouper was lukewarm, the shortribs were more fat than meat, and we had to request iced tea refills multiple times. We love the experience of dining on the pier, but there are other options to try.

Had a nice dinner here. The space is beautiful and it was so nice to stroll down the pier and eat here during sunset. The food was good but nothing spectacular. We had a mishap with food and the manager remedied it quickly. Overall we had a nice relaxing dinner.

Overall another great lunch. Slightly higher priced than might be expected for lunch, but you can't beat the location. Shrimp and Grits are still fantastic!

My daughters and I came to this restaurant with a late reservation of 9:30 on a Thursday night. Although the front desk person reminded us that the kitchen closes at 10pm our server Geoffrey was AMAZING and didn’t rush us at all. He was very welcoming, charismatic and even complimented us on attire. The food was delicious! We all had the file mignon and it was cook to perfection; it melted in your mouth. For dessert we had the Not your mom’s pineapple upside down cake and crème brûlée and both were delicious. I will say they add 20% service fee automatically to your bill but it was nice that they disclose this before you order. The prices are comparable for the quality of food. However, if you have reservations you should allow extra time for parking and the LONG but beautiful walk to the restaurant. Overall we had a lovely experience.

Teak has been a destination restaurant for us for over 5 years. This time, we drove 45 minutes from Bradenton. Everything was ok, just not like it used to be. We absolutely the wedge salad, and again, it was fine, we ate it. But it lacked toppings. I pulled a picture from a previous visit and it wasn't just in our heads. The bread pudding was good, but the creme brulee was not good at all. I realize the menu says burnt sugar, but I have had many in my time that are a nice caramelization, and this was truly just burnt. We were maybe 1 of 10 tables due to a thunderstorm, so the kitchen had plenty of time to get it right. I am not saying we won't be back, but it is no longer a destination restaurant for us.
