   So happy to see that the beef carpaccio was back on the menu! The cauliflower & Brie soup with jumbo lump crabmeat is amazing!!! The filet was melt in your mouth. A wonderful dining experience!

   Very nice experience. Service was amazing and ambience was perfect. We really enjoyed our hibiscus martinis, pork belly appetizer and cauliflower and Brie soup. I ordered the duck entree but I wasn’t crazy about it. It was a little on the blander side and just ok. My friends got the bolognese, scallops and salad and they were all perfectly cooked and delicious. We finished the evening with a praline cake with butter pecan ice cream. It was melt in your mouth heavenly perfection. We will definitely be back.

   I can’t decide which was more phenomenal, the food, the service, or the atmosphere! What a wonderful experience! My only complaint is when my server described an entree, I heartily chose it, only to second guess myself after hearing about the NEXT entree! I guess I’ll have to keep coming back to try them all!

    We LOVE Tchefunctes! The atmosphere, food, and service make it the best on the northshore in my opinion. Bailey and Erica were our servers and went out of their way to take such good care of us and make us feel special. I even dropped some food on my silk dress and Erica noticed and brought a set up in a cup of expanding towel and soda water to remedy my problem. It's all in the details! No other restaurant cares that much! Even bartenders at the start of our evening( Rebecca) were amazing and wishing us a happy anniversary!

    We went for brunch on a Saturday, rather than a Sunday. It was nice and not as busy as their normal Sunday brunch I hear. Food was excellent and our server was great.

    We are from Philadelphia, PA and took my mom and our family there. Incredible view of the Tchefuncte River. Ambience and service is top notch. Most importantly I judge a restaurant quality on every dish from the appetizers to the salad to the main course. Outstanding quality and service. The restaurant brings in fresh seafood daily and sometimes twice a day. Highly recommend !! -Teddy from Philly

    Visited for Mother's Day Brunch. The $65 Prix Fixe 3-course menu was varied and excellent. We were later in the day, so the popular oysters were substituted by marinated crab claws that were outstanding. The House Cured Ora King Salmon & American Sturgeon Caviar on Crispy Potato was the best appetizer ever anywhere. A taste of Scandinavia in Madisonville. Both the Paneed Veal and the Blackened Redfish were excellent with sauces that were not heavy-handed but complimentary. The dessert was perfect. We have been here several times in the past for celebrations and with friends and are never disappointed. Our servers Landon and Anissa were attentive, informative, and smiling at the end of a long hectic day - a special thanks to them both. We will absolutely be back

    Service was terrible. No drink refills unless you could flag someone down and beg for some more. Food was placed at table in wrong positions everybody had to swap the plates around. Not a great experience for 1200.00

    This was our first time there and it was beautiful. I brought my son his wife and my 2 grandchildren. The staff was excellent with the kids who are2 and 6 months old. They went above and beyond to make our evening wonderful. The food was fabulous and the chef even stopped by our table to say hello. We will definitely be back and will recommend Tchefunctes to all our friends. God bless!!!

    Tuna salad was disappointing. There was very little tuna. Having had it many times before I felt it was not nearly as good. Mostly frisée lettuce. Avocado in it was good but it was nothing like it was previously. Restaurant itself is lovely

    Went for dinner during Kentucky derby event. Service was sub par for this establishment and we have been many times before and it was amazing. Would not recommend going during an event or at least not sitting in the small dining room behind the bar. Steak felt cold like it had been plated and left on the counter while wait staff took care of our table and the large drinking KD crowd.

    Me and 6 of my mommy friends had our monthly night out. We used the opportunity to celebrate one of our mommy friend birthday and also was able to do a surprise gender reveal with the ladies. It was a memorable night for us all. From the bartender, who was able to make a mix drink for the gender reveal as we requested, the amazing staff, especially our server-I believe her name is Nicole. She was so attentive, polite and extremely helpful to everyone at our table. The food was amazing, my friends enjoyed their drinks also. The restaurant was clean that included the restroom on a Saturday night. 👏🏾 This is my second time here and I have continue to tell my friends and family about how great the restaurant over experience is whenever we go there. Thank you all so much for an amazing Evening. Highly recommended 10/10

    Our service was fantastic! The food wonderful. We went for Sunday Brunch to celebrate a birthday. We were so pleased from the time we walked in the door till we left. No one rushed us even though we were one of the last to leave. Thank you Tchefuncte Restaurant for a very nice afternoon.
