The server was incredibly rude and dismissive. Over charged the 20% gratuity he didn’t earn for sure. My group and I just got the check after one drink because of how badly we wanted to leave and how unwelcome we felt. Absolutely poor place. Never coming back.

Killer experience. We had dinner last night, already made a new reservation. our diverse group - including differing dining preferences - all had a wonderful time. Lovely & lively space, great people watching on Canon Drive. Outstanding, knowledgeable, welcoming and fun service. Dishes to note: marinated olives, it's a Spanish restaurant, you need to have them. Simple and so delicious. Special of the night: turnip carpaccio - creativity beautifully executed! Tomato base, with razor-thin turnip slices. Stunning. Ensaladilla TATEL, potatoes, tuna, shrimp, don't miss this yummy dish Famous TATEL risotto, rich, infused with truffle flavor - we devoured this Cheesecake, so creamy, amazing

It was our first time to your restaurant and not the last was very impressed at how your greeted at the door. The waiter was so kind and gave us a five star experience he always came to check on us at the right time. The food exceptional. Live music was a perfect touch. Food was overrated based on reviews we read ahead of time. Average at best. Staff was friendly but disorganized. We were the only table seated inside and we had 3 different servers approach the table. We had no idea with whom to place our order. We placed our initial drink order 3 times before we got everything. We got upsold on one entre (we agreed to it, so ultimately it's our fault) but it was obvious what was happening. Food came out at odd times. Our son was served well before us. They brought the side dishes well before the entrees. The side dishes felt like a second round of appetizers. Little made sense. It's very expensive. We left disappointed and will not be returning.

Although food served was very delicious, it was overpriced, the quantity of servings of tapas very small. Our bill was very high, although we know in the area, most restaurants charge a hefty price, but there were some exceptions. Prior to our visit, I did some research, and I thought some Italian restaurants in the vicinity had better value for the quantity of servings and also had more selections in the menu. However, they had no more seats available for us-it was Father's Day. The servers were very polite, respectful and nice. For this reason and due to the tasty dishes, I might come back but be more selective of what I will order. If I recommend Tatel to a friend, I will ask him or her to look at the prices of what's in the menu and decide. The music was very loud, it was difficult to hear one another in a conversation.

The past 5 months I’ve had 3 glorious visits to Spain, so when I found a menu that contained Jamon Iberico and croquetas I didn’t mind how much they cost and headed over. Incredibly disappointed that the waiter had no idea what I wanted when I ordered Vermut to drink. The croquetas were pasty and gummy rather than creamy. I wasn’t expecting true Valencian paella but theirs truly missed the mark. While I appreciate the high overhead costs in Beverly Hills, the quality does not justify the prices at this restaurant.

Amazing ambiance & decor. Terrific & thoughtful service. Beautiful & plentiful Spanish tapas being enjoyed by beautiful & plentiful Spanish customers btw, so you know you’re in the right place. Everything was tasty … except…the paella was a disappointment. (Of all things to be mostly “meh!”)

The seafood, regrettably, didn't have the freshness one would anticipate, and the paella was notably overcooked. The steak tartare had an unexpected Maillard reaction, which detracted from its appeal. On the bright side, the service was exceptional. It was unfortunate that the food did not live up to the same standard.

Outside dining is not recommended unless you don’t mind the constant horn honking and road rage being shown by the drivers on the street. The food is bland and overpriced. The bar is never fully stocked and the staff is overwhelmed.
