   Wonderful food and great service. There seemed to be some problem with the air conditioning though which meant the upstairs bar was unbearably cold while the downstairs restaurant was uncomfortably hot. It was a shame as it took a lot of the gloss off what would otherwise have been a great dinner.

   I love food, and I love great restaurants. I think Tartufo is one of the best restaurants in London, and it is certainly the best meal I have eaten this year. Each dish is delicately presented with the utmost care, the ingredients smelling as fresh as if they were picked that day even before you bite into them. This is only the 'entre' before tasting each amazing plate that comes out the kitchen, with the flavours taking this to another level. Whilst I leave many restaurants very satisfied, it is rare for me to think that I want to return for breakfast. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everybody, be it a first time date, special occasion or just a meal with friends. Quite simply, the best meal this year.

   We really enjoyed our meal at Tartufo, the ambience, the food, the wine flight, and the restaurant staff made for one very enjoyable evening. What brought us here was the association with our all time favourite and truly fabulous Gauthier Restaurant in Soho. Unfortunately it was not in the same league as Gauthier, all the same we still enjoyed our romantic meal. The decor inside the bar and restaurant is gorgeous, a lot of thought has gone into making this restaurant a very special place. The only downside we experienced on the evening was in the hotel bar, we arrived 20 minutes before our meal to enjoy an aperitif. Frustratingly we were ignored the whole time we were there, the bar was very quiet, the barman acknowledged us then carried on cleaning glasses, we then showed ourselves through to the restaurant once we realised a drink was not on the agenda!

   Wonderful location for a meal out with friends. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable.

   I had a surprise call from James Trevaskis (Restaurant Manager and Sommelier) regarding a review I had given for their tasting menu previously and he kindly invited us back for a complimentary meal. We had a selection from the a la cart menu this time around and apart from the marinated scallops i.e. Il Crudo, which were very salty, the experience was positive. James was attentive and polite and we were really impressed with his wine pairing choices – I particularly enjoyed the Ribolla Gialla. We left Tartufo/11 Cadogan Gardens with a big smile that evening… Thank you.

   It's my third time here now, and it's been consistently good. The decor and ambience is great and romantic, the food is of good quality and very value for monthly.

   We were celebrating my husband's birthday last week and chose to try the seasonal truffle tasting menu. Absolute perfection. Staff are attentive and efficient. Food fantastic as ever. Highly recommended!
