Tantes Fish Market is a full service restaurant and bar located in Maalaea Maui, Hawaii in the Maalaea Harbor Shops right by the Maui Ocean Center on the upper level. We specialize in the freshest ingredients that arrive daily. We are very proud of our fresh menu that has the best seafood, local food, and sushi as well as Filipino dishes along with traditional lunch and dinner food such as steak, lobster, ribs, hot wings, nachos and much more.

                                                                                                                        We went to Tante’s after our whale watching trip. We had a wonderful dinner. Scenery was beautiful with a harbor view.

                                                                                                                        We used to enjoy food quality and service but it has certainly gone downhill the past year. Steak and lobster special was a disappointment and size is half of what it used to be. Steak came medium rare though we ordered medium. Gravy for mashed potato was charged $2 when it was free in the past. And papaya dressing for house salad was diluted and tasted like mayo. Old management took pride in serving an excellent meal but new management has cut corners for profit. This restaurant is no longer on our list to dine or bring friends for lunch or dinner.

                                                                                                                        Made a reservation, showed up and was told they had an emergency and were short staffed so please be patient. We were seated promptly and accommodated quickly. Food was wonderful, no extended wait, great staff service!

The food is phenomenal, the prices are extremely reasonable, the ambiance is ideal, and the staff is absolutely amazing, especially our waitress Maria. She was extremely warm, friendly, and accommodating. And, Candela, was very personable, and even remembered me from my previous visit several weeks ago. Overall, it was a great experience!!! Will be back SOON 🤗💕🙏🏽😇
