Chalk Farm’s Haverstock Hill provides plenty of choice for the casual London diner, however few of its restaurants are as strikingly different as Tandis. Occupying a site formerly held by a trendy bar, Tandis retains the chilled, funky vibe and cool décor but has added excellent Persian food and friendly waiter service. Exposed brick walls and a mirrored bar, waterfall style chandeliers and reclamation style accessories make up the fashionable interior, suiting both the locals of rich Primrose Hill and grungy Camden, both within easy distance. Tandis’ Persian cuisine has also enthralled visitors looking for something totally different. Warm, pungent spices add subtle flavour to stews and kebabs with many vegetarian options available. Don’t miss the faloodeh, a delicious Persian sorbet.

Very much enjoyed. Lovely staff and delicious food. Would recommend they have limes for gin and tonic. Pita with hummus excellent.

.The staff were very welcoming and pleasant, and the food (one cold, one warm starters and naan bread, warm and slightly crispy) and to vegetarian dishes: the grilled aubergine and the okra, both come with fluffy Persian rice topped with saffron rice. All were delicious and filling. I’ve come to Tandis several times in the past, and they never let me down. Recommended.

New year eve with the family, for adults a toddler and a baby. Food was excellent staff accommodating and very friendly . Great experience

From the beginning to the end you feel like at home. The food was as always delicious and the warmth of the welcome more than appreciated ! Will definitely come back. Thank you Tandis 🙏🏻

Lovely service (on a quiet Monday evening) and good food - large portions of quality ingredients but a bit under-seasoned for our taste. Fair value, also on drinks.

Nice choice of things on the menu. Restaurant quiet, so good for conversation. Service just right. Some of the food a little bit mushy, could do with a bit more texture.
