Our business model is unusual for the restaurant industry. We believe that if we invest in the best possible ingredients and people, and focus our resources on presentation and environment, our customers will recognize the difference and will be excited to return and share their experience with others. We believe that a cocktail should be the creative expression of its author, and that a good meal must be an artistic blend of flavor, aroma and color. A true dining experience should involve an awakening of all of the senses and we hope to bring this delight to our guests...again, and again, and again.

    The food was delicious, very tasty and well presented. Pork tamal, stuffed guerito peppers, arrachera steak and camarones a la mojo (suggested by our amazing server) were the highlights! Chips, guacamole, quesadillas, street tacos were also very good. And their cilantro infused rice is a must side on every dish! The cocktail list is impressive and you want to try everything, especially with their housemade watermelon juice. Service was very nice and attentive from every member of the staff.

    Consistently good. We've been going there for years. Food quality is excellent; innovative and artistic food prep and presentation. Generous portions. Never fails to please.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our evening in this restaurant. We asked to to sit inside and loved the simple, yet comfortable and interesting decor. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the taco bites as a step up from plain chips, salsa and guacamole. The chicken quesadillas and shrimp tacos were delicious, and the Mexican street corn was a treat. If we lived in Palm Springs, we would be regulars at Taq/Quila. Our thank you to the chef and staff for making our last night in Palm Springs so special.

    Everything was amazing. However, I know most people complain about slow service but ours was way, way too fast. We ordered drinks. Once they arrived we ordered chips and guacamole as an appetizer. We ordered our meals at the same time. The chips/gusc came out before our server left the table. That’s fine. However, our food arrived 5 minutes later so we didn’t have time to enjoy our chips and drinks. Our meal felt very rushed rather than a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Next time we will hold off on ordering if this is how this restaurant works. It seems like they want quick turn over rather than an enjoyable eating experience for guests.

    Overall food and drinks were good. However, everything came out at different times. We ordered a flight of margaritas that was delivered 10 minutes before the drinks for the rest of the table. Three of our entrées were delivered before the lobster tacos, which took another 10 mins and they were overdone. The manager was apologetic and accommodating and bought us dessert.
