Swan Court Breakfast - Hyatt Regency Maui
Please note that we only accept reservations for our special brunches between 10:30am and 2:00pm for Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Went there for the Mother's day brunch and was really disappointed. First of all, I called a week before my reservation to find out the menu since I did not read anything about it. I've been there before on Mother's day and food was good. But when I called, even the employees could not say what was on the menu as nothing was posted. But they assured me that normally there Mother's day brunch is fantastic. It felt more like a continental breakfast. I should have went somewhere else.
A BIG disappointment! Easter Sunday brunch was mediocre at best. Looked more like buffet breakfast at the Holiday Inn not Hyatt Maui.
Great, but could have been better.
For example, being met with a local cocktail and lei to feel very special on Christmas Day. Surprised that drinks, or at least 1, was not included.
Food and service was excellent.
The restaurant was beautiful with an amazing pond/pool with swans and waterfalls. The food was fair and the most expensive brunch I have ever experienced. Large selection for brunch. The desserts were exceptional but the rest was average.
Made reservation for Christmas break with high expectations. Very nice place. Parkin free with validation. Found the location for brunch. Food with great variety and high quality. No menus and price was near $40. Planning to spend $300-400. Had mimosas. I was designated driver. Received bill for $900. Amazed! Charged separately for every mimosa at $13 per drink. Bottle of their champagne likely cost $13. NOT HAPPY! Paid bill. Complained to corporate and received response which was and is a lie that price of items was and is clearly listed to diners. Buyer/diner beware. This is a major scam! I am an aficionado of brunch and I’m 50 and have dined throughout US and Europe. I have NEVER been charged per mimosa at brunch. I will not dine at another Hyatt restaurant or stay in a Hyatt hotel. This has left me and family with poor experience. Hyatt obviously values money over loyalty.
Thanksgiving Brunch was awesome
What an expensive disappointment! There we’re lots of choices, but they didn’t replenish the few good ones. Never again!
Beautiful setting great music and good food. Service was horrible I felt like I was inconvenience him by having a $550 mother day lunch with our server! I alway tip 20% plus and in cash now how we have been in the service industry. I could go on how bad it was all he needed to do was fill the water bring champagne and clear plates... won’t do this again ever!
Had breakfast every day(because we purchased the breakfast package). Fruit and breads were good. Eggs were always over cooked or othterwise rubbery. Potatoes were undercooked. No omelet station which should always be a part of a higher end breakfast buffet. Not a good value for the price.
Took my wife for Mother's Day Brunch - over priced at $69 a person and the selection was not that great. Expected more choices for the price. Will not have brunch there again.
Wonderful Mother’s Day brunch spot. Excellent buffet choices, great ambiance, attentive service, and delightful live music. Highly recommended!
Had Easter Buffet there this year. Service was meh, overall OK, but really nothing to write home about.
We had an allergic person in the group, and the waiter seemed disinterested in helping us find items that she could eat. I did make the reservation stating this limitation, and it was written on the check, but the focus was not on this allergy. So if you have someone that is allergic or wants to stay away from ingredients, I would be cautious of this location.
The one bright spot was a baker who was manning a carving station that helped us when I went looking for the pastry chef. He left his carving station and made the day! Instead of having just prime rib, she was able to eat something else and feel safe.
Never really had this type of service at a nicer location, but you get what you get and you have to make do sometimes.
The food was absolutely disappointing for the price. We went for Christmas brunch and I could y believe how little there was to eat that was even good. I would give it a full thumbs down. The only “good” about this place was the service. Food👎🏼
WOW! Christmas brunch was impressive! The food was amazing and the service was top notch!
Thanksgiving brunch was outstanding. Salads, side dishes, deserts were all great. Turkey and prime rib were done just right.
We were here for the thanksgiving buffet and the thanksgiving selection was amazing! There was probably more desert selections than the were main course selections but there was already a lot of choices in that area. The ambiance is the best in Maui! Full open view to a stunning pond with a waterfall and roaming swans. They call it swan court for a reason, there are many elegant swans to observe while enjoying your dining experience. Service was a little slow mostly due to the high demand of the service that day but it’s a must do dining experience! Thanksgiving meal a person though was $75 each
Pricy but very good buffet.
Mothers Day brunch was excellent with many seafood selections like crab salad, poke, mahi mahi, all the salad fixings, all the standard breakfast selections including a great eggs benedict and meat selections including baked chicken, ham with a meal ending awesome prime rib. Great atmosphere, pleasant music and promptly seated at reservation time.
The atmosphere and service were wonderful but the food was somewhat disappointing. I could go in to detail about each individual item but I really feel like my time is more valuable. Especially bad was the very dry mahi-mahi and the really "goopy" peel and eat shrimp. My server was right on top of things and I was very happy to be in such a beautiful setting. I will try the restaurant one more time, perhaps in the evening for dinner rather than a buffet.
