   I will not be back at this location due to a unique experience of poor service that I never dealt with before. I was with a large party and had let the server know that I was ready to order, and she told me No basically because she likes to send group orders back to the cooks all at once vs individually. I was completely caught off guard by this as I’ve NEVER had this happen while dining out with a group. Everyone at my table was also surprised by this response after she left and rationalized my reaction of feeling like wtf just happened. The food was good though, but because of this specific experience I know that there are other places I can definitely find with better service for the value I have in mind when it comes to spending my money for an experience out.

   First time eating sushi. We went all in! Food was amazing. Our server Peter walked us through the entire menu. Great food, great drinks, definitely our favorite sushi spot in Denver now.

   We loved sushi ronin! Went on a date here with my boyfriend and sat at the counter in front of the chefs. The service was great (Joplin was our waitress and she had a great presence). The food was wonderful, have to try the dragon and Godzilla rolls!

    did the valentines omakase experience 100 per person. it was OK, but I was not impressed by the variety or the amount of sushi. The quality was ok for the sushi/fish that came out overall. it was 6 courses total, but it was not all sushi. there was also tofu based soup and some really bad ice cream at the end taking 2 of the 6 courses. I would much rather spend more money on the experience, and have more unique and better variety sushi. Makizushico's version of this from littleton does this plus is better ambiance than ronin.

    Just celebrated my birthday dinner tonight with a good friend. Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was attentive and offered great recommendations. It’s been a while since I’ve been here and it was nice to see that service and quality of food has consistently stayed high.

    We’ve been going to Sushi Ronin for the last 7 years and absolutely love it! We grew up in the Pacific Northwest and fished for salmon, rock cod, collected fresh oysters and clams and crabbed for crab in the Puget Sound and Pacific Ocean. We are used to really fresh (think minutes/hours fresh) seafood. Finding somewhere here in the middle of the continent where the fish is perfectly fresh and put together with the finest ingredients is an oasis for us! Thank you.

    Visiting from San Diego, and used to really fresh fish. Found out about this place on a Reddit thread about best sushi spots in Denver. It did not disappoint at all. The fish was fresh. The rolls were very innovative and the whiskey cocktails were fire. Our server had great knowledge of the area and history of the company. Loved his service. 10/10

    The food here was very good and the chef’s even accommodated my buddy’s dietary/allergen demands well and happily. The device, particularly just the one waitress/server we had was terrible. She was super rude, brash, abrasive and snappy. She even went on to insult and undermine the attempts of another server who just wanted to make sure the allergen request was understood. Our server was portraying a terrible attitude and seemed frustrated because it took us a little to decide what we all wanted as a group to eat. She definitely put a damper on the whole dining experience but the food and the rest of the staff were great.

    So pleasantly surprised by this place! I am picky about sushi and this was some of the best fish I’ve ever had. We sat at the sushi counter and the chefs were friendly and informative. Will definitely be back!!

    We made a reservation on open table for high-top seating for two. When we arrived there was no seating for us and we waited at the bar for 45 minutes to be seated. We have been here three times now and that is the first time it happened. The food is always delicious. Of note, they do not appear to have enough high-top seating for the number of reservations available on the website. I will not come here for dinner if I have after-dinner plans. We also were not offered an appetizer or drink for the wait which would have made me feel better about the experience.

    We’ve been to Sushi Ronin twice now and it is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Colorado. The fish is fresh and the presentation is very artistic. You can tell the chefs work hard and are very focused.

    Great sushi but they lose the taste of the fish with too many “toppings” on the nigiri. For instance, a slice of Serrano pepper on hamachi completely takes away from the flavor of the fish. Other similar things occurred with the other pieces of nigiri. Otherwise, really good!

    All I can say is amazing! Flavor bombs and texture explosions with every bite. We love Sushi Ronin! I recommend going in and sitting at the counter and taking the suggestions of the staff. So good!
