   A fine sushi restaurant, but not worth the hype. My server was dismissive after I asked some questions about the menu, and when pressed admitted that most of the sushi is premade at some earlier time and therefore can’t be modified. I’m from the middle of Wisconsin and we have two local sushi places that are better than “Denver’s finest”. The fish was fresh and tasty but nothing special. The seating is cramped as well. Other than the Uni on the menu you can find anything on the menu at a standard grocery store. I’m legitimately confused as to why it’s so popular. If this is truly the best sushi Denver has to offer I feel bad for the city.

   The service from Su, the waiter, was exceptional as always, but the kitchen service was very slow—they took an eternity to serve dinner. I brought some VIP guests, and while they rated the food as very good, they found the kitchen service to be very poor.

   We have been enjoying the Sushi Den since 1991! It was one of our favorite date night places to go. Now we get to bring our adult children with us to the best sushi in Colorado! Ambience, food, service, always top notch!

   Such a wonderful dining experience. Out server Tim was so knowledgeable and he gave us excellent recommendations. The food was FANTASTIC and so was the service. We had grilled calamari as an appetizer that was excellent. The menu Is extensive, and it is worth every penny.

   Sushi den never fails to deliver. We tried something new (red snapper nigiri/salmon tartar hand roll) and our all time favorite (lobster tempura) and it was all 5 star sushi. Took dessert to go and it’s still amazing. As far as sushi goes, we don’t go anywhere else. Had a beef wagyu roll next door at Jack’s that doesn’t hold a candle to the beef wagyu roll on their al la carte menu here. If you want the best, go to sushi den - lunch or dinner you will not be disappointed. I’m a foodie and have yet to find better sushi anywhere else. There’s a reason they’re voted the best in Denver 30 years in a row ♥️

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible experience at Sushi Den! Everything about our dinner was outstanding. From the service to the food, this was one of those nights where everything just clicked. Our server was top-notch—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely added to the experience. His recommendations were spot-on and really elevated the meal. A few dishes absolutely blew us away. The Red Shrimp and Mikan Hamachi were so phenomenal, we ended up ordering a second round of each—they were that good. We finished the night with two Aburi selections our server suggested: the Osaka Style Aburi Sockeye Salmon and Aburi Toro (Fatty Tuna). Both were absolutely incredible and the perfect way to close out the meal. Other standouts included the Ginger Sashimi, Aburi Kinmedai, and Crispy Spicy Tuna—all of which were beautifully prepared and packed with flavor. If you’re a fan of Uni, I highly recommend ordering it here—it's incredibly fresh and flavorful, and while Uni can be hit or miss for some, Sushi Den definitely gets it right. One dish we could’ve skipped was the Crispy Bincho Roll. It wasn’t bad, but the cream cheese just didn’t hit for us. Personal preference—everything else was so fresh and clean that this one felt a little out of place. The drinks were great, as always. And if you enjoy watching sushi crafted with precision and care, definitely try to grab a seat at the sushi bar. All in all, Sushi Den delivered yet another incredible experience. Can’t wait to come back.
