   It is certainly a unique experience to arrive at dinner via an outdoor chairlift and to be greeted with some amazing views. It was foggy and quite chilly the night we had our reservations but there were moments when the skies opened up and it gave us a glimpse of how spectacular it can be from the mountain top vantage point. With the views being the main show, maybe we weren’t expecting as much from the food but it was really very good. Our server, Danny, completed our wonderful experience. He was personable, attentive and charming. The service and food truly exceeded our expectations and the views did not disappoint either.

   The servers at Mt Bachelor we kind and attentive, unfortunately, the food was horrible and tasted like cafeteria food. My halibut was cooked like jerky and despite contacting them ahead of time the vegan option they provided was extremely basic….cauliflower with potatoes and balsamic. Not worth the bill of $500 for 3 people. Don’t go

   We've been here a couple of times before & it was very good, but this visit was really disappointing. Two of us had fish, one had short ribs. Both pieces of fish were dry and over-cooked. The short ribs were OK but lacked flavor. The potatoes that came with the salmon were undercooked and a bit crunchy. Also, what they called German Chocolate cake was really just a brownie with a tiny bit of coconut sprinkled on top. The Pear Cobbler though, was actually delicious. I'm hoping we were just there on an "off night" because it really is a fun experience and we'd like to try again sometime.

   The whole experience is excellent! Great views as you travel up and down the mountain on the chair lift. We were quickly greeted and seated by Eddie and received warm and friendly service from Danny. Danny was very knowledgeable about the menu and easily offered his recommendations. Portions were generous and the food was soooo good, even as left overs the next day! Highly recommend this for special occasions or dinner with great friends.

   Oh my Goodness! So great, again. This was our second time. The food as excellent, especially the dessert!! Sam our table person was incredible. Thank you!!

   Unique experience. Definitely not a bargain price. Excellent service in a nicely dressed ski dining hall. White tablecloths, excellent drink selection. Potential for amazing views but it was overcast when we were there.

    As this was our first time dining at Sunset Dinners at Mt. Bachelor we didn’t know what to expect. We were both overwhelmed with the level of service, overall ambiance of the restaurant and the quality of the amazing food and drinks. This is not your traditional ski area food. This food was gourmet in every way including beautiful presentation and the staff was exemplary in every way. We especially enjoyed Diane, the restaurant manager, Sydney, our server and Brady who took care of us all evening. Each one of these people made sure we enjoyed our evening and went out of their way to make our evening special. We love the breathtaking sunset, the chairlift ride to and from the restaurant and will Plan to go back before they close for the year on 9/1/24. Thank you for everyone involved and especially to the staff who took great care of us. THANK YOU!!!
