Such a lovely evening, truly special. Riding the lift up at sunset and down under the stars was magical. The food was overall great. The entrees are not 5/5 but everything else was including the starter and deserts. We had a lovely waitress and great wine and drinks. They were very accommodating to our 5 year old son and we all had a lovely time.

The white tablecloths and napkins were lovely. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. We all tried different dishes, salmon, short ribs, portabello mushrooms and all our group marveled at the freshness, presentation, and taste. And how could anyone beat the wonderfully inspiring view of the Three Sisters and Broken Top. Last but not least, the chair ride and attendees were great. Thanks again and we'll see you next year.

This is all about the ambience and the experience of dining near the top of a beautiful mountain. Food was just ok and service was very lacking. Go for the views and the chairlift ride up. Expect an average and spendy dining experience and you will have your expectations in line with what you’ll get.

It was our first time doing the Sunset dinner at Mt. Bachelor. The food was delicious and there was great variety to choose between. My wife and I celebrated our Anniversary and had an amazing time. In typical Mt. Bachelor style, it was in the clouds. Haha, but we didn't need the view, we've seen it hundreds of times. The food was so good I would recommend it on its own, the view just would have been a bonus. We would definitely dine up there again. Thanks

Our experience was great and we would absolutely do it again for a special occasion! The staff was attentive and knowledgeable on the ingredients of items on the menu - they were easily able to accommodate the menu items to cater to my food allergy. The menu was short but everything we had was well thought out and flavorful. Keeping in mind that you are dining in a ski lodge (that is not Aspen or Park City) the ambiance was great, they had music playing and covered the tables in white table cloths to dress up the ski lodge. They even offered wool blankets for the chair lift ride down, they really thought everything through!

Beautiful views throughout dinner as the sun set. Food was very good and did not feel rushed through the meal. There is a bar to enjoy should you arrive early. Blankets provided for the ride down the ski lift after dinner. Great experience for if you’re looking for something different to do.

The view alone is worth the price. And for a meal like this you'd expect 100 a plate. Together a grat value, and a dinning experience I'll not forget.

Most people don't go for the food but the experience. As long as you have that expectation you'll have a wonderful time. Some of the food was excellent (i.e, tuna stack, short ribs, dessert) some not so successful (ribeye [please season], burrata salad [more tomatoes less cheese]). The ride up, the staff, the view was beyond excellent. We'll go back for those things alone.

Had a great time with friends. We all ordered different and all loved what we got. I try to go twice a year. First trip up we had a beautiful sunset. Second time up we were fogged in. A complete different experience but still worth the ride. Loved both trips up the mountain.

Was an amazing fun thing to do. Only thing poor was we had to ride on the ski lift when it was raining. Going up raining. After dinner coming down on the lift it was raining. All 5 of us was excited and appreciated all the efforts to accomplish this feat. Thank you.

Wonderful ride up the chair lift! And a great venue visually. The food was good. However, the experience did not meet my expectations for the price. The service was very good. It is casual. I would recommend because it is a one of a kind thing to do here in Bend (with guests or a special event) but I do think they should revisit their pricing. ($379 for 3)

My only disappointment for ambiance was extensive wildfire made it difficult Be be outside and obstructed the view. Nothing the staff could have changed . We did manage a few pics on the lift ride down, but clothes and hair saturated with Smokey smell. So something that could have countered lack out outdoor ambiance would have been indoor… live music, art work display, slide show of what the view usually is…. something to look at other than other patrons.

This was our third sunset dinner over the years and I feel like this was one was the best. It felt more like a fine dining experience from the quality of the food to the great service than in years past. It used to be buffet style but not anymore. All the food was so good. We didn’t want it to end. We will definitely be looking forward to next year.

Almost everything about the dinner was amazing, the food was incredible, the views were beautiful, and the chair lift up the mountain was a fun and different dinner experience. However, the couple sitting behind our table was beyond drunk and on a phone call on speaker at the loudest level. When multiple tables around them asked the waiters to do something about it, the waiters did nothing and shrugged all of us off. I think that for the very steep price people pay for their dinners, its not just the food, but the ambiance as well, and for the wait staff to ignore multiple customers about the clear disturbance in the restaurant made our night unenjoyable.

The chairlift ride up and down, the sunset views, the mountaintop experience...all great. The food was mixed, some quite good, some quite terrible. The salmon should be taken off the menu, it was terrible. The dessert is very pathetic. The service was friendly but very, very slow. The price is quite high for the food and service issues.

If you’re expecting yummy food here forget about it. I don’t know if my taste just isn’t what they offer but you get a literal tomato just decorative and they charge so much for their menu. There’s not a lot of options on there menu either about 4 or 5 . The views were incredible but it felt more like a ski lodge that they try to make upscale. The seats are booths that they try and decorate for what they charge the food isn’t worth it but the views are beautiful. If you’re celebrating something I would say put your money somewhere else where you can get 100% satisfaction with your money instead of 30% and it’s only 30 % satisfied because of the sunset

This was our first time doing a sunset dinner. Overall, plan to go for the views, not the food. The lift ride up and down was great, we were seated promptly, and our server was lovely. The amuse course was nice (mushroom cap w/ goat cheese) and we loved the pickled watermelon and my tuna starter, but our entrees were subpar. I had the ribeye which was overcooked. The salmon which was mediocre and significantly smaller portion size compared to the rest of the entrees at the table. My favorite entree was the roasted chicken, but it was cooked unevenly, and the polenta lacked flavor. The chocolate hazelnut dessert and KeyLime pie cheesecake were nice, I had the ginger cake which unfortunately was stale. Cute idea, phenomenal views, recommend for drinks.

My primary frustration about the experience was that the price was not listed anywhere on the website and was not listed in any of my booking reminders. I also was not provided information about the menu being set course menu and also what was on the menu. I had to ask our server when we sat down how much the whole experience would be. Thankfully, the amount was not a problem for us but it was not a comfortable feeling to not have a clue about the cost. I also was thankful that there were so many gluten-free/vegan options because that is what I need to eat but I planned on just not eating much if I wasn't to find anything on the menu for me. All of that being said, we will definitely go back! The servers and bartenders were exceptional and you cannot beat the view. I hope my recommendations get in the right hands because these two issues are easy to fix!

I really would like to write a good review but for a dinner that was 300 dollars with a drink and tip for two people just not worth it. It’s basically fair food in a ski lodge. I’ve been there many times skiing but thought they would make more of an effort for ambiance. Unfortunately not. If you want to see the views skip the dinner and just take a lift up for drinks maybe.

The Sunset dinner at Mount Bachelor was a very memorable experience. The air tram was fun. The only drawback was the smokel. Our server, Liv, was very personable and professional. The food was very delicious. From the appetizer to desert. The portions were reasonable.
