The Summit has a very cosmopolitan feel to go along with great menu selections. The staff was attentive and friendly. My new "go to" place to bring out of town guests.
We enjoyed our Colorado appreciation dining experience at Summit and look forward to another visit soon!
Excellent food and service! Would definitely return again.
Awesome food and service, great wine service.
Excellent meal and service.
A nice quiet time celebrating 39 years of marriage🥂
Recently had a client holiday appreciation dinner at the Summit, and had a great meal, with stellar service, in contemporary dining restaurant. Would highly recommend to my friends, family and coworkers.
We think of the Summit as our birthday/anniversary/feeling in need of pampering kind of place. You've never disappointed and I honestly don't know why we don't come more often. I feel like I want to become personal friends with your wine steward (sommelier)? She is so gracious and knowledgeable. So...here's to a dark , depressing March evening. Thanks.
Our food was average - too average for the high price. We love the Broadmoor, especially brunch at the Terrace Room. Sadly, our expectations were not met. The endive salad was a little soggy, My husband’s venison was tough, beyond medium rare (chefs choice). My halibut was good, but not outstanding. The bill was the only part of the meal that was outrageous.
We had a fabulous meal. Great food and awesome service! Christopher was so fun and helpful! Can’t wait to go back!!
Outstanding flavors in both of our dishes - Pork Belly and Halibut. Mussells app was fantastic - just ask waitress/waiter to separate the delicious broth into another bowl for dipping! Would order all dishes again! Modern and contempo design, excellent service, a little pricey, but expected. This was the last of the Broadmoor restaurants we hadn't tried yet - can't wait to return next year!! Completely our style!
Special time with our son John who is by himself moving into Fort Carson for his military service. A special time eating like the Pilgrims= Venison. Not our usual palate but was delightful.
The only negative to the entire evening was the number of crying infants; one in a hanging high chair attached to the table next to us. I understand that you can not control ignorant people. Perhaps on the slower evenings you could seat parties with infants in the private dinning room away from the guests that wish to enjoy a romantic dinner, have a conversation, and not have to speak over crying babies.
While I am aware of the published dress code not only for the Summit but for all public areas on the property, I wish you could train staff to enforce the code to the enjoyment of everyone.
Totally changed the menu. Will not go back.
Hard to find a consistently good restaurant in Colorado Springs. Had not been there for 2yrs as the last time the meal was mediocre and the restaurant unkempt. Food selection was good and our meals were quite appetizing. Wine list is over priced with few if any wines under $50. Much cleaner look to the facility this time. Service was excellent. Will consider returning.
We had a nice experience. To their credit they changed the menu the prior day and it was their first day serving the new menu options. Not our best experience we had had at the Summit.
Very solid service and wonderful ambiance. I have been there several times and wish that the food would be as good as the service.
Tasty food and excellent service. I eat Keto and my dining companion eats gluten free. We were both well fed.
We came into the restaurant specifically for Vegan Restaurant Week. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and the wine pairing. It was much better than our last experience (over 5 years ago), enough so that we will be back again. The flavors and creativity of the four courses intrigued my palette. I'm inspired to try a few of these at home now.
We had a great time, as a family, celebrating our daughters birthday. Everyone at the Summit was nice, helpful, and were real (not a fake personality). We enjoyed the atmosphere & the variety of food.
Mainly regarding the noise level. Its not energetic at all. IT Was to loud not a good or even great atmosphere. You cant here the people at your own table talking because the bouncing of the other voices in the restaurant.
I Highly recommend to install sound reduction panels. I wound spend my money there again unless this is done.
Fabulous meal with wonderful staff. Excellent wine list and knowledgeable staff. Seasonally wonderful and eclectic menu. Definitely will return to enjoy its offering.
Jessica our waitress was very friendly and engaging. Also a Midwest gal as we are from the Midwest. The food was good and appealing to the eye. My wife loves "Good & Quality" food. Places like this are rarely in our budget, but as we were celebrating our 7 year anniversary we splurged.
Also, another waiter (male) whose name I don't recall stopped and picked up our plates and asked about the food. During the conversation he mentioned the bone in pork chop was one of his favorites. So we are enticed to come back when we can splurge again. Thank you
All good! Zzzzzzx. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzxzxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxzzzxcvbnmmmb xadfhjytx.
The Broadmoor itself is an amazing property, but Summit was incredible - the decor, the food, the service, and to top it all off, my group met Bill Clinton the night we were there!!
Service was absolutely outstanding however food was cold when served. Simply unacceptable considering the price paid. I would not return.
Outstanding menu and service. Classic NOLA meets Southwest, and so much more.
Service was iffy but we had a large party. The food was totally hit or miss. That chocolate dessert was awful. One lady said her salad was inedible. My scallops were great and the beignets and lemon tart were phenomenal. But I never got a water refill. They gave us only one waiter for a 14 top. It was decent but I was expecting more at the hotel it’s in I guess?
An excellent wine list and sommelier, seasonal menu
For the price, the food left something to be desired. The flavors were interesting, but just seemed to fall short of satisfaction in all aspects. The salads were nice, the bread was good, the biscuits were divine (albeit, $10/4 small biscuits!), but the mains were very disappointing.
Comfortably classy, great menu with service that is spot on.
From start to finish, everything was absolutely amazing. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the food was fresh, unique and simply delicious, positively delightful. Wine selection was on-point and the cocktails were perfection. Highly recommend.
Some of the best chicken I’ve ever had!
Had a fabulous birthday dinner!
I’ve stayed at the Broadmoor nearly a dozen times over the years and have dined at The Summit several times in recent years. I’ve always enjoyed it and was looking forward to bringing my party of six to dinner. First course went fine however when our entrees arrived, unfortunately one of our party’s pork chop was severely underdone. We notified our server and she promptly took it back. Unfortunately, in the excessive time it took to prepare (or re-cook) the pork chop, everyone else had completely finished their entrees. We eventually were able to flag down our server and simply cancel our guest’s entree completely. She had no interest in starting her main course when everyone else was already done. Five minutes later the kitchen sent out a pork chop anyways (why?)! We were done with our entrees and thought we would move on to dessert. We ordered dessert and port and some 25 -30 minutes they both arrived. How long does it take to pour a glass of port on a quiet night. Fast forward to the check arriving.... as a courtesy for our really unsatisfactory dining experience ( which starts with the kitchen), the guest who never got her entree had her salad comped. Yes, a $13 write-off on a $775 dinner tab! Rather than a $13 comp off my bill, I much would have preferred having the manager come by our table and apologize for the evening’s mishaps , rather than leaving that task to our server. Really disappointing. Won’t be back....
The food was exquisitely prepared and presented. It was a true delight to dine at Summit! The on-site sommelier made excellent recommendations on wine to pair with our meal. The waiter was extremely attentive and helpful in making our selection of courses. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Summit, recommend it enthusiastically to others, and will certainly return in the near future!
Food was very good. Enjoyed one of the specialty cocktails.
Very nice this time around has improved over the years, always an enjoyable experience
Absolutely the perfect night and perfect food! Will absolutely be returning.
Without exaggeration, this was the best meal I’ve had in my life. I ordered the chef’s tasting menu and each plate was delicious and beautifully arranged.
The service was completely on par with the food and contributed to a wonderful experience.
