Today high above the hustle and bustle of North Orange County, like a crown on the hilltop, you will find built in the tradition of an English country manor the stately Summit House Restaurant.
The Summit House, renowned for its magnificent panoramic views and old-world charm, is famous for the amazing flavors and incredible food presentations created by Executive Chef Timothy Plumb’s culinary team. Highlights include our world-famous Stockyards of Chicago Roast Prime Ribs of Beef, “melt-in-your-mouth” oak wood grilled USDA prime steaks, our thirty-year favorite sautéed John Dory, locally grown vegetables hand-picked from neighboring Back Sheep Farms, and of course our famous creamed corn au gratin.

    We enjoyed a delightful dining experience on the outdoor patio, an hour before sunset at The Summit House! It was my husband’s birthday. We wanted to celebrate by dining somewhere special. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding and the ambient outdoor dining atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. The prime rib was perfectly prepared and side dish accompaniments were delicious! What a great evening we had there! Highly recommend this place to others.

    Everything was great here. We went for our one year anniversary. I had some flowers delivered, and they were set on the table when we arrived. The service at our table and the bar was impeccable. The guests were very friendly , after dinner we went and sat at the bar for a couple drinks. They had a piano player there it was awesome. This is our first time at the Summit house and it won’t be the last

    Luke was our server and he was excellent. As always, the food was amazing. My husband had the Japanese salad and the Chilean Seabass, which was to die for. It was so buttery and fluffy amazing cut a fish . I had the lobster bisque with a touch of curry, which made it extra delicious and the rack of lamb served over a bit of risotto that was divine. The restaurant also served us a serving of cream corn, which was super delicious but bad for your arteries. We topped off the dinner with a sampling of desserts, which were exquisite.
