Service was good, Patrick did all he could do. The food took forever (only 5 other tables in the restaurant so not busy) and the steaks (ribeyes) were full of fat and gristle. For a high-end steak house that charges $60+ for a ribeye I would expect much better quality and trimmed much better. Patrick was apologetic and offered a free desert. Not his fault at all but I won’t be going back anytime soon. This is now the second time we’ve had slow food service in a rather empty restaurant.

Great restaurant with good ambience, food and drinks. Only issue we had was our bill had many errors and incorrect charges. This was corrected and still we got a charge that was included in a 3 course menu that should not have been there. They offered to correct it and give us a desert but at this time we were just ready to go. The rest of our experience was very good so I guess we shall be back for the good steaks and drinks.

This is one of the few steakhouse’s I’ve not tried in my JoCo. Our server was outstanding. I’d heard this place could be pretentious/snobby and was ready for it. We never did get a visit from manager asking about our food/service despite spending $500. That was different for a restaurant of this caliber. Our server was witty and fun. He assisted in putting together order for picky teen at the table, too. Food was pretty good, but honestly not outstanding which it should be at this price. The sides and drinks were the stars at the table. The brussel sprouts side and oysters Rockefeller starter were delicious! I do not recommended the crab cakes here. More carrots than crab and bland.

Nice eating space, great service with friendly responsive hostess and waitress. Service was not rushed,orders were taken easily and attention was given to water, extra silverware etc. All the food was well prepared and served promptly. The warm bread and butter was especially impressive in taste and texture. First time I had been there but will be back as it is a great value and a very nice room ambiance.

Seated for an anniversary dinner in a crowded area with small children screaming and crying. The entire restaurant was empty except two tables of families and us. Never had a waiter come over-husband asked to be moved-felt like an inconvenience. J. Gilbert's is cheaper and 100% better.

We’ve been big fans of Sullivan’s for years. Something drastic has changed. The food was great, thank goodness. The service was hugely disappointing, as was the overall vibe of the restaurant. The waitstaff were far too busy, yucking it up, amongst themselves, to tend, politely, to patrons, who had chosen, to dine with them. We’ll think twice, before dining there again.😔

We usually love Sullivan's but this time was a bit different. Since we have lived in New Orleans we were excited to try the char-boiled oysters but they were a disappointment. They served 4 in the shell but the oysters themselves were the size of a raisin and they there was no juice in the shells to dip the bread which was served with it into. The chopped and caesar salads were drenched with dressing, not good at all. Two of us had steaks and although we had asked for them to be cooked medium they came out medium well. We spent a lot of money for not great food this time, we will definitely rethink our fancy dinner out next time.

Our server, Alexander, was fabulous. The food was excellent. The ambiance is rather quiet elegance, except if your table is on the main aisle from the front door. Then it's rather high traffic; but otherwise, not complaining.

My husband and I go out to eat at wonderful steak houses all the time. We gave this Sullivan’s another try, due to the last experience a few years ago. We had 8:45 reservations and chose to sit in the bar area since they couldn’t seat us first. We were about to walk out (20 minutes went by without any acknowledgment. Then our waters came. We were ready to order but she left. We ordered a crab cake and it was set down by a food runner. He was rude and we had no silverware or plates. Let alone drinks. So my husband had to get up and get ourselves silverware. After we ordered, 30 minutes went by and we still had no drinks and zero communication with our server. We just wanted some bread at this point. Well the food came out finally and ALL of it at once, two salads, soup, steak, scallops, Brussel sprouts and they forgot the mushrooms. Well after eating our salads the food was cold and so darn salty. We didn’t even bother saying anything because the two tables next to us sent back their food. Mushrooms showed up when we were done. We took our desert and left. Very very horrible service for one of the most expensive dinners around. We don’t mind paying it. We are regulars a J Gilbert’s and 801. Ocean prime and Eddie vs on the plaza would NEVER EVER let this happen. It was a disgrace this was our pick and what a waste of $250 (with tip). I think a bar and grill would’ve treated us better!! Never will go back. Never got to speak with a manager and went home hungry.

The food was very under seasoned and I received the wrong cut of steak. I told the waitress that this looks like a filet, not a strip. She said, no it's a strip, they can look like that. She disappeared for long period of time leaving our glasses unfilled. I had previously gone for happy hour and appetizers and enjoyed it so I went back to take my husband for dinner. He was very disappointed. His steak was very tough. I'm giving two stars because the cheesecake was good but Needless to say we will not be returning.

Usually we have enjoyed this restaurant. This time the service was not what it has been in the past. The waiter was pushy and insisted on things that didn’t work out well. Three out of five of our steaks were over cooked. A restaurant of this level should do much better.

Hello. That was our first time at Sullivan’s and it was pretty good. The wedge salad was great, steak was okay. I know the pre-fix menu could not allow substitutions, but wanted to try the sweet potato casserole. They were out of the bread pudding for dessert which was disappointing. It was very lively in there!

The food and service were outstanding. My one caveat was this. We were having a client dinner. My client was a large person, and we were seated in a very tight booth. It was embarrasing for him to have to move the table in order to squeeze into his seat. The hostess should be trained to avoid these situations by seating large individuals at tables where they can be seated comfortably.

Arrived a few minutes before our reservation but was seated right away. Table selection was excellent. Gus was our server, he did a great job helping us choose the best entrees. Cocktails were there quickly, salads as well… entrees took a little longer than usual, it was a Monday night, but the food was delightful. We over ordered, again… The sides should be shared. Steaks are prepared exactly as instructed. Only bad thing that happened.. after Gus packaged our desserts “to go” we left them behind when we got side tracked greeting some friends that were seated close by.. dang.. hope Gus took home our Key Lime pie and Cheese Cake, he deserves a treat. We enjoy this eatery often. It’s always a sure bet for a great evening.
