We didn't stay to eat. Our original reservation was for Tuesday. We received a call that there was a water leak. We were asked to call the next day to check and make sure they would be open and were offered free shakes for the inconvenience. We called the next day and they were open. We moved our reservation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a man in sweats and a t-shirt. He let us know that there were no workers and he and the cook were the only ones there. He also let me know that they didn't have most of the shakes on the menu. There were about 10 people in the restaurant. My family and I took a seat and noticed that everything was dirty and sticky. That's when we saw the hard working cook in the back wearing a trash bag, not and apron or a chef’s coat but a trash bag. At that point we left out of fear that the food would make us sick.

Definitely wasn't the $180 i spent. They ran out of food and the customer service was horrible. the waitress seemed exhausted and overworked. To say the restaurant is known for its energetic atmosphere and high vibrations, Sugar Factory Houston was not giving!!!! The Dj was on her phone most of the evening scrolling while constantly replaying the same 5 songs smh.... it was bad!!!

Went for my daughter’s birthday. The wait for food was extremely long and there was only one other group dining at the time. Also they ran out of napkins. We will not return.

We made a reservation at Sugar Factory to celebrate my daughter’s 7th birthday. At the same time, another party was taking place for a 5-year-old child. Without warning, loud music began playing and several Sugar Factory employees began twerking in the middle of the restaurant. The lyrics of the song were explicit, including repeated references to profanity and sexually explicit language that were entirely inappropriate for a family-friendly environment. We were shocked and disturbed, especially given that this location is inside the Houston Galleria Mall and easily accessible from the food court—meaning anyone walking by could see and hear what was happening. We immediately covered our children’s eyes and left the restaurant before even placing our order. I’ve never encountered anything this inappropriate in a public dining establishment, particularly one frequented by families and young children. We submitted a complaint through the website but have not received a response. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of accountability and would appreciate a prompt and serious follow-up regarding this incident.

Overall not good my family came in town for my daughter graduation and we show up to your establishment and did not get to even sit and eat .The only person there was a hostess , no management , no cooks and the restaurant had already supposed to have been open 2 hours before ,they gave us no wait time, no explanation nothing,even though we had a reservation my daughter was devastated her and her friends and my family had to find another establishment to eat at . very disappointed

Made a reservation for 2:30 for my sons 9th birthday celebration. Server came over, did not introduce herself much less eye contact. Once ordering it took 30 mins to receive our overpriced drinks that looked absolutely nothing like this picture on the menu. When questioned why she stated they don’t have and candy/garnishments to recreate the drink exactly like the picture (we received a few gummy worms). After explaining that she immediately walked away. Didn’t ask if we were ready to order food or anything. 20 minutes go by and I flag her down. We order 2 appetizers (chicken strips and loaded fries). That takes another 30 minutes to come out; mind you it’s not busy at all and we’re her only table. Finally I ask to speak with the manager. I explained to him how disappointed I was in the lack of service, insane pricing for below average food (fries were cold and apps came out 10 mins apart), ambiance, amongst other things. He stated he would comp half the bill which was well over $200 but when I paid he only discounted $65. If you have plans on going here I’d say save your money and go elsewhere. Worst time ever! Also, I forgot to mention the server never acknowledged that it was my son’s birthday. As we were wrapping things up to leave the manager has someone bring out a bowl of ice cream.

My honest opinion is that’s it’s NOT worth the hype we can here for my daughters birthday made reservations. Once we arrived we were sorted fast but after that we waited over a hour before we got our food, the drink were sooooo strong you couldn’t even enjoy it & the food was very bland

The original menu did not have the actual prices. There was a $2.00 up charge on each item. The server fail to let us know. They also canceled my friends item so when everyone at the table received our food she did not. They said that they would make it and she let them know that was fine but she would like to change her order since they haven’t start making her original order yet. They allowed her to change it but then brought out the wrong order. We asked for the manger and he said that they would remake the order the correct way. We felt as if she shouldn’t have paid for her meal because of all the inconvenience they have caused but no the manager only have us a $2.00 discount
