   I used the app to make a booking but the restaurant didn't know there was a booking at all. The menu was different to the menu online. When ordering the there was barely any food left, we ended up half 2 buns between the four of us for burgers, despite wanting to order from the brunch menu, and it took about an hour after ordering to be served.

   Booked the table for three, they gave a table for two with only two chairs - we had to wait a while for the third chair. Atmosphere was fine, burgers tasty just as you would expect, and prosecco was nice. Good place to catch up, although very average in terms of ambience and service.

   A rustic pub with a fantastic ambience, squashy leather sofas and fabulous cooked breakfast. I went with two vegetarian friends of mine as I was impressed with the selection. We all ate well and the food was very tasty and portion sizes were just right. If that is not enough there is also a TWO PAGE Whiskey menu so I will definitely be going back to sample a few!

   excellent vegeratian burguer and delicious fries (sweet potato with mushroom salt and truffle mayonese). very pleasant outdoor area.

   Picked this place for the beer selection and turned out to be false advertising - they didn't have half the Beer on the menu! Burgers were good but probably won't be back.

   Went here for food straight after work with a friend on a Thursday night. Fancied a burger which is what the menu is mainly made up of and the place had decent reviews so thought we'd give it a try. The food took quite a while to arrive even though the place was pretty quiet but the burgers were tasty and there's a decent variety of sides and drinks to choose from. The main issue though was the door staff at the entrance to the compound. Even though we had a booking the person at the door didn't have us down, was quite confrontational and insisted on searching our bags (we'd gone straight from work so had laptops etc). We also had bottles of water with us (a wise precaution when you commute on the tube) and the person said those weren't allowed and that we had to empty them. As it happened they were mostly empty anyway so he relented on that eventually. All this to get into a restaurant for some food which you've pre-booked was rather unexpected and awkward and not a great start to the evening. Definitely give that guy zero out of five stars for attitude.

   Food was ok - the steak was low quality and gristly (it was rib eye, so there shouldn't be any gristle), but filled a gap. Service was good from a friendly bar man, but Strongroom functions better as a bar/pub. The food is something to have alongside the beer rather than the other way around. Nice venue though.

   A food and bar place in the heart of shoreditch/old street, easy to get too, plenty of space outside for events etc. Secure with 2 bouncers checking bags.

    Booked a table for my birthday gathering so we were there for the drinking and music more than food. Friendly, helpful staff and good atmosphere - will return.
