OUR INSPIRATION
Stoke & Rye by Chef Richard Sandoval is a modern American grill with a menu reflecting both the Colorado landscape and Chef Sandoval’s creative stylings. Dishes are genuine, time-honored, and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving, and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great foods. Grilled steaks, flamed tomahawk, hand-cut steaks and chops, shucked oysters, house-smoked line caught Colorado trout and more comprise the menu highlights.

The $95 Spring special is the best value anywhere in the Vail Valley. The restaurant is not crowded and the views of BC Mountain from the windows are spectacular. We've now had 3 of the 4 entrees and all were excellent. Good martinis! And if you want to splurge, share the 52 oz Tomahawk!

We were so excited for this meal - our son’s first Easter and with family. If you’re going to advertise an Easter buffet with an Easter bunny, DON’T take reservations after the Easter bunny has left and when your staff is going to be taking away all of the food.

Let’s start with the good. The dessert table is divine. The banana bread pudding with a marshmallow topping was a home run. Stale food… Previous avocado toast was so fresh and so good and this year the bread was stale. I couldn’t finish it. Something new! Biscuits and gravy, but the biscuit was a hard as a rock! King Crab! Yes, but there was no butter to dip into. I asked for butter and the server brought pads of butter (???). One mimosa at the drink bar was $15! Another example of the Westin reaching into customers pockets for more money. Just like the complementary Westin shuttle is no longer complementary! No more complimentary mimosas.

We love going to Stoke & Rye! The team always takes such good care of our children, which makes the entire event more enjoyable for all. We love splitting the appetizers and someone always gets the scallops!

Absolutely a wonder experice and view. We come here when we visit Beaver Creek. Our server has been Sydnee the last 3 times and we absolutely enjoy her and her service. The food is always amazing as are the drinks. We absolutely love the atmosphere as well.

The waitress was very nice and did all she could do, however the issue was in the kitchen. The food took an inordinate amount of time (waitress apologized several times) for pretty simple meals (burger, ravioli, and chicken breast). She comp’d our appetizers and bottled water. (Offered dessert, but we declined). Maybe the kitchen was severely understaffed this night, I can’t be sure, but overall the experience wasn’t what we had expected.

Slow service. 45 minutes to get 1 cocktail. Food not cooked great. Filets came out to the table cut which was was odd. Served on a plate with sides, there was no room to cut the piece of meat. 2 out of the 4 soups came out cold. Halibut was good, though. Restaurant was unbearably warm; our entire party was uncomfortable. Hate to leave this review, but come on. It wasn’t cheap or crowded.
