   I had the filet which was cooked to perfection and my daughter had the halibut which she love. The whipped mashed potatoes were delicious as was the bread pudding. We thoroughly enjoyed STOCK HILL and look forward to returning.

   It was a great meal, the food was truly good. Little too dim, but otherwise nice ambiance- quiet enough to actually hear my date.

   Food was cold I had the crab cake, table next to me sent their steak back 3 time

   My first experience was just as great as the second. Both of the wait staff is exceptional!

   I have been now several times there and for the first time, I was a bit disappointed. I did not have a steak or any beef and that was my mistake.

   Kansas City is the steak capital and Stock Hill is the crown jewel. Tucked in next to the Country Club Plaza, serving up style, steak, and a whole lot of fun. From the moment we walked in, the ambience started feeding our souls. Think modern elegance with just the right touch of cozy (like a jazzy velvet-lined lounge - without the jazz and without the velvet). Dim lights, plush seating, and that hush of anticipation lets you know you’re in for something special. And special it was, thanks in no small part to our phenomenal server, Mackenzie. Knowledgeable, gracious, and somehow knew what we needed before we even asked. Absolute star! We indulged in a bottle of Caymus 50, which felt like sipping on a celebration. Smooth, bold, layered - just like the night. Though I must say, Caymus 49 still holds the top spot in my heart (just a bit more structured), but you can’t go wrong with the 50. If you see the 49 - grab it and run. Now, for the main attraction: my ribeye steak was everything a ribeye should be—juicy, marbled, perfectly charred on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. Pure magic on a plate. My wife ordered the fish, and let me tell you - she didn’t share a bite, which tells you everything you need to know. It was light, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We were both in food heaven. Stock Hill, you’ve got the vibe, the wine, the staff, and the skill. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. 10/10 would steak again.
