   We felt really welcome as soon as we walked in. The staff encouraged us to take our time, explore the hotel, and enjoy a drink at the first-floor bar. Part of our dinner party was stuck in traffic, but no one made us feel rushed—they were super accommodating. The service moved at a perfect pace—never too fast or too slow. We asked for suggestions that would work well for our group, and the amount of food was just right. We tried a few different cocktails and a glass of Cabernet, and everything was fantastic. It was my daughter’s birthday, and the staff went out of their way to make it feel extra special.

   We went for a birthday celebration, hoping it would be great. But it was pretty disappointing. Maybe we expected too much. The service was great. The food was fine/good (tempura mushrooms and trout too salty, pork chop great). Cocktails were also good. But the restaurant was unbelievably loud. Almost impossible to have a conversation. We were seated in the center section, which has chairs and tables that make you feel like adults eating at the kids table. And there’s not much view unless you are seated facing a window, which is not the case for most seats. Especially if the patio is closed, which was the case when we were there.

   We wanted to try this new restaurant since we've heard so much about it. It's a beautiful setting in an artsy new hotel in Denver. The food was awesome, although their menu is very limited. Service was just ok. (We watched our waitress standing near the bar chatting for quite some time with another server instead of taking our order. It took quite a while for her chit-chat session to end before she finally came to check on us.) When she was with us, she was friendly and polite. I think she just had a thing for the other waiter. What I wanted to make people aware of is the noise level. It has more of a bar setting, than a restaurant setting as far as the noise level goes with loud-ish music and lots of laughter and loud voices. My husband has hearing aids and anyone who has those, knows that when the general background noise level is way up, you can't hear the person you're talking with at all. He could only hear all the background noise. We pretty much sat quietly and ate because he couldn't hear a word I said. We try to avoid these types of restaurants because of this. I just wanted to offer a head's up to people like us.

   The restaurant has a great ambiance. The food is good but the menu selection is very limited. They only offered one type of steak. Overall it was a good experience.

   Great spot. Cool decor. Great views. Trendy vibes. Limited menu options, but solid food. On the pricy side in line with other steakhouses, bring your check book.

   Service was great. The venue is amazing. Food was good but not great (we shared 5 dishes). What we didn't enjoy was how close the tables are together and the acoustics -- we could hear every word of the very loud couple next to us. It's hard to blame the restaurant for the loudness of guests, but if we return, we won't sit in the small tables near the windows.

   Every dish was worth licking the plate over. Every server treated us like we were honored guests in their home. Outstanding experience.

   Everything at Stellar Jay was fabulous. The staff is incredibly attentive and accommodating to our party’s dietary needs. The view from the patio is gorgeous. Can’t wait to go again in the summer.

    Couldn’t really be much better. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in Denver and so far I have not had a better meal than this restaurant...
