a local family that loves seafood, flavor, and family gatherings. Their passions for flavors and spices drove the creation of an establishment where you can dine on the freshest sustainable seafood.

This new addition to Midtown has much to offer; with a modern industrial setting, a fresh raw oyster bar, private dining room, full bar, and an outside patio dining area. Station 16 offers everything you need to make your dining experience a memorable one.

Family owned and operated, they carefully crafted a menu that features fresh seafood and simple raw preparations, with additional local produce and meats. Station 16 specializes in garlic roasted seafood served on sizzling cast iron skillets. Their goal is to create simple but flavorful dishes.

Ok. Excited to go. Read the reviews. Food looked good. First and foremost, too much garlic!! And this coming from an Italian!!!! I love garlic, but this was rediculous. They used , I think pre chopped garlic. Easy to overuse. Twice as potent. Our crab and shrimp was good. But again, too much garlic overpowers it. Just sayin..... and the steamed clams were good but, I think could have used a bit more seasoning other than garlic. Otherwise, we enjoyed the concept. We will go back and try again. We want to love the place because with just a couple small changes it could be so fab! We will try again. Good location. Good vibe. Nice staff.

Went on a date there Sunday evening and it was a wonderful experience. The crab and shrimp with garlic butter sauce was out of this world. The staff was so nice and helpful with deciding what to order as our first time there and it wasn’t too loud. I was still in the area an hour later and returned to get a sprite to go for my hour and half drive home and they were closed. Well the front desk girl was kind to let me in and get me a sprite to go. Overall experience was just excellent and would definitely return back. Thanks to all the staff.

We were so impressed with the food and service! This was hands down one of the best meals we’ve ever had! We will gladly make the drive to come back! There were three of us and we had the Baked Fella Oysters and calamari to start. Then had The Big Mix Skillet and Lobster Mac-n- Cheese. We also decided to have an Oyster Shooter! OMG everything was amazing! Left totally satisfied! Amazing!

Fabulous food. Our server, Scott, took excellent care of us. We had never been to Station 16 before and Scott was able to make recommendations that made for an outstanding meal.

The floors seem dirty at first walking in. It's more of a Applebee's than anything else. The drink cocktails are delicious but the food is just so-so. Overly salty cajun pasta, chicken sandwich dry and over cooked. Waitress was very nice and prompt but she didn't know much about where the meat or fish came from. There's a lot better restaurants in downtown Sac for the money.

Really enjoyed the prix fixe menu for Dine Downtown Week 2020. The crab bisque was delicious. I had the Blackened Salmon and then Creme Brûlée for dessert. All yummy!! My husband had Crab Carbonara and Apple Pie a la mode!

Went on New Year’s Day, didn’t have the wine I wanted, and my husband’s dish was too spicy. He asked how it was and warning about that would have been helpful. I had the salmon salad which was great. Apple pie ala mode was fabulous as usual.

Service overall could use A LOT of help. Hostess was not too friendly or welcoming. The waiter was ok, but not attentive. We had to have our party keep an eye out for him, so we could ask for refills on drinks or condiments. The other waiters that helped bring drinks and food out were not friendly. They seemed like they didn't want to be there. Plates were placed down without a smile or any attention to our party. The food was really good. The prices were ok. I think if the customer service was good, it would have been worth it. Not too sure if we'll come back.

I’m still dreaming about the sizzle platter. The spicy sauce poured over the crab and shrimp are mouth watering!! Great cocktails and Monday happy hour all day. Will for sure be going back!!

We dined here with some friends for my birthday. The restaurant setting is nice and it was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Our server was a young man who was friendly and attentive to our needs. The 4 of us ordered different entrees. My friend who had the salmon raved about it and said she would return just for that dish. I had the lobster roll, which although quite good, did not seem to me to live up to the raves it gets from other diners. There are many entrees on the menu that sound delicious, so I plan to return to try those.

Excellent service! Waitress checked on us often and you can tell they work together as a team. Had Alaskan King crab and prawns. Absolutely perfect. Linguini was rich and delicious. Mussels are perfect and just the right amount. Felt full and happy! Definitely recommend.

Celebrated my birthday and receive a complimentary ice cream sundae for dessert. We ordered the fish taco appetizers which were very tasty. The lobster Mac & cheese actually tasted better as leftovers the next day. My salmon entree was delicious with flavorful garlic rice and assorted cauliflower. The clam chowder soup was more of a broth with good flavor and the baked cheese oysters were tasty.

We enjoyed lunch on Veterans Day at Station16 with lovely fresh oysters, well-prepared calamari, and spicy steamed clams and mussels. The service was friendly but slow, as our waiter David had to do the oyster shucking, because they were short-staffed and he was clearly inexperienced at it. However, he did a good job and overall it was a good dining experience.

My friend and I dine at Station 16 a few times a year for the lobster rolls which are very good. My friend grew up and Boston and attest to the authenticity the rolls. We've never tried anything else on the menu but my guess it other items would be very good as well.

Food as very good, selection of just fish was limited. They were out of the wine we ordered but that was ok, the recommenced alternative was great. Our server was very friendly and nice w/o being obtrusive. We’ll go back.

From our hostess thru our food service people, at the oyster bar and our dinner table, the service was friendly, informative and prompt...outstanding. Then there was the food...lobster roll, cajun pasta, and blackened salmon...OUTSTANDING. And the desserts...creme brulee was tasty, but the Skillet Apple Pie Ala Mode...OUTSTANDING personified!!

OpenTable Reservations specifically asked for Happy Hour Reservation and that is what was reserved. We were seated at a booth and when the server came to the table, we were told that we would have to move to one of the bar seats to order off the Happy Hour Menu. It was our FIRST EXPERIENCE at this restaurant. Why would you offer that when requesting the reservation, if the restaurant won't honor it or seat you appropriately?

So, we order. Shrimp Cerviche, Chicken Pot Stickers, & Lobster Mac and Cheese. Questions were asked about the mac and cheese or the Lobster Roll. The cerviche was good. Pot Stickers were good. However, the lobster mac and cheese was not up to par. First, it's claw meat. It's a different taste. For $22, I expected a few ounces of tail meat. Next, parts of it was crunchy. Later, I got sick. Needless to say, I won't order that again -- EVER.

Will we back? Possibly in a year or two. The restaurant needs to work on a few things first.

My wife loves the blacked salmon, while I tried the linguine with clams and mussels. Not at all pleased with my meal. Too dry, the bacon in the meal was too much (surprise) and under cooked, We have been there a couple of times and I will not order this dish again.

Great service for our server.
