Splendido at the Chateau - Beaver Creek
Splendido can comfortably accommodate a range of events including wedding receptions, family celebrations, cocktail parties, as well as business and corporate dinners with private facilities for catered meetings and seminars.
Another great meal! You can never go wrong with the orange soufflé, but the deconstructed key lime pie is crazy good!
Great location and view. The service was great. Dinner was delicious.
I have been coming here for many years now. It remains the best place for dinner in Beaver Creek. The Bison strip my son had was awesome! I'm going back again this week! Paul is an exceptional asset to Splendido!
The food was superb as usual and Jenna’s great service was outstanding
Never disappoints. The food is very good, however on this visit the mushroom soup was a bit off its usual. However the Dover sole didn’t disappoint. Wine was excellent with a superb list. Service is always outstanding.
Love this place---the food is always delicious, the desserts are spectacular and the piano music adds great ambiance.
Absolutely one of the best dinning experiences of my life.

Very disappointing. Vegetarian entree of spaghetti squash and burnt eggplant was barely edible. Filet was tough. Service was poor. I made a reservation for 3 a few months ago and was given the choice of a cramped corner banquette table for 2 with an extra chair or a table next to the bar. Hostess refused to seat us at an appropriately sized table in the dining room. She said all larger tables had been specifically reserved by other guests even though the restaurant was quite empty at 6pm and OpenTable does not allow table specification. We opted for the bar seating to have space but endured a noisy evening with bar guests predictably congregating next to our table and speaking so loudly we could not talk among ourselves. In addition, the waitstaff did not treat us like normal restaurant guests but as bar guests merely having drinks and a snack. The waiter acted annoyed when we did not order liquor. He did not serve us bread with our meal until we asked and then only gave us three crackers. It took two more requests to get a bread basket, most likely because they viewed us as transient bar guests, who committed the grave sin of not ordering liquor. The server also did not bother to refill glasses or ask us whether we wanted to order soda and Pelligrino refills. He only told us about the 2 entree specials of prime rib and lobster when prodded. The restaurant offers fresh black and white truffle but the menu did not indicate which dishes were candidates for truffle enhancement. Although the server mentioned that truffles were available, he provided no insight as to which dishes would work well with truffle. Moreover, Spelendido is known for its desserts, but we were never offered the dessert menu and left without dessert. While we paid for a fine dining experience we endured an evening of bar dining. A waste of time and money.
Beautiful restaurant. Excellent service. Made my birthday a truly special occasion.
Such a fun way to celebrate a birthday! The food and drinks were great, service was friendly and inviting, and ambience was wonderful! After dinner we listened to the piano being played while we had a drink from the bar! Five stars!
Every single thing was perfect. This is a must! One of the best dining experiences.
We have a home in Beaver Creek and like dining at Splendido. However, the night we dined they were packed with customers and service was not up to it normal high quality. We had to ask for bread for our table, water refills, none of the waitstaff came to the table when our friend accidentally spilled a glass of very expensive Bordeaux wine on the table. Thus, we had to give our napkins to help soak up the wine. We dined with this mess on our table through the entire dinner. NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR A 5 STAR RESTAURANT. Another item was they were out of our favorite wine and we were substituted the lesser quality Bordeaux. If a 5 star restaurant is out of a wine, they should be removing it from their wine list. Overall, pretty disappointing to our guests as we told them this was the best restaurant in Beaver Creek. They were unimpressed to say the least.
Obviously, these were the problems we encountered. The good items were the food and piano music.
Simply the best fine ding in the Vail valley area.
Awesome restaurant. Great food, great ambiance. Perfect. Thank you!
10 ptos. Excelente restaurante que no te debes perder en Beaver Creek
I had been there in February with my family. When I found out I was coming back to Beaver Creek I had to come back!!! My friend LOVED it as well. It was quiet because it was the end of the season. So, was nice. After dinner we took our wine and sat at the bar to listen to the piano. We got our own private concert and was FANTASTIC! Such a fun night. The food was out of this world, the same with the wine selection, our server was wonderful as was the entire staff. Love Splendido and hope to come back again in the future!!
Splendido has without a doubt the best food in the Vail Valley!
The food was great and the service even better. Always a special night
perfection......each item of food that was ordered was done perfectly. Tender, excellent tastes combined for a very enjoyable dinner. Dessert was the soufflé......also prepared perfectly.
You can't go wrong...….prices are what you might expect in Beaver Creek and a fine dining restaurant
Everything was wondeeful. This place use to be our go to favorite. Have not been for about 5 years. It was as good as we remembered.
Everything was great, wonderful, friendly from valet to greeting to waiter to service people! And our food was
Absolutely Fabulous.... always love seeing Matt your amazing manager and Kathy Morrow is the icing on our cake!!
We were expecting a better price because it was restaurant week and we thought 2019 would be part of our meal pricing, but you were just offering a bottle of Prosecco at that price... otherwise, our experience was wonderful...
Always a delicious meal, beautifully presented. The New York Strip Steak with onion mashed potatoes and green beans was suburb.
What a great experience. From the setting , service to the food just awesome! In from Michigan and the next meal of the week!
It was wonderful
Service was over the top fantastic, food was more than memorable and the prices were reasonable when compared to what we feel are "lesser" restaurants at the vary base of the mountain. One shining example of service was when the server (Paul) noticed my wife's reaction to the first sip of wine they recommended. While it wasn't bad, he could tell she wasn't in love with it. Almost instantaneously he brought a taste of another option which she much preferred. They promptly comped the first glass, left it on the table for consumption if desired, then quickly arrived with a glass of the second option. Additionally, my wife and I love multi-hour dining experiences, and never once did we feel rushed. We just can't say enough about our experience.
This was the most memorable experience we’ve ever had. Food was great and Paul was hilarious. The ambiance was romantic and piano was icing on the cake.
We went for our 20th anniversary. This is one of our favorite restaurants but this experience was extra special. The menus were printed with our names and “Happy Anniversary”. It was a really special touch.
Excellent, as always!
The piano bar area is wonderful, and Kathy (pianist) is exemplary. She knew every requested song, has a wonderful voice, and makes everyone in the area feel like family. Outstanding menu, fresh food, service, and all made our evening entirely memorable. Pricey, for special occasions for most people. Will repeat.
A longtime favorite, better than ever, you will not be disappointed!
Great food. Had the elk and sole. Delicious!!
Perhaps my favorite restaurant—anywhere. We come to the Beaver Creek area every summer and have at least one dinner at Splendido. Usually two.
Always a great experience.
Absolutely the best, first class in every way.
Wonderful in every way!
The best meal of our trip. Hostess accommodates our seating preference. Generous cocktails. Our waiter led us in the right direction. Then he brought out the Pastry Chef to explain the incredible unique dessert special. A perfect way to end the meal. Can't wait to go back on our next trip!
Absolutely wonderful menu items with perfect presentation and eclectic selection. Our servers were attentive for the most part. It was slightly disappointing that “regular” patrons were given a little extra attention than we were afforded. I suppose we’ll gladly have to visit more to receive the similar service. On the whole the evening was wonderful and the food exceptional.
Oh, the bread and honey butter were fabulous to start. There were three of us. We ordered the peach/mushroom appetizer to start - heavenly and unusual - enough for three. For mains, we ordered halibut, dover sole and elk from NZ. Both fish dishes were excellent. Our friend thought the elk was a bit dry but pretty good. Dessert - the semifreddo - was a little bland. The small scoop of sorbet that accompanied was delicious. This was our first time dining at Splendido. Besides the excellent food, we were looking forward to the jazz piano. He was very good but was too loud for conversation, as we were about 15 feet away. Highly recommend, but ask for a table farther from the music if you want to talk.
We loved the food and the atmosphere at Splendido!
Our lemon ice dessert was so original and very delicious!
