This is one of our favorite places we've been!
It's is a bit expensive and if you are vegan/ non-egg vegetarian there isnt many options.
The food was absolutely FANTASTIC! Our server recommended a great combination of dishes which we did. The pasta just melted in our mouth, and the pork chop was so tender! Our server was very attentive, we so appreciated her service! Thank you - we'll be back!!
Year after year, meal after meal, Spinasse continues to demonstrate why they are in the top Italian restaurants in Seattle. David brings his special touch to every dish leaving the kitchen. A way wonderful neighborhood restaurant with global reach. Every trip to Seattle must include a stop at this gem
Great restaurant with great food, service, and wine list. Angela, the wine manager is exceptional, and provided a great wine recommendation.
Always consistently good! Lots of new dishes, but a lot of the classics too. Great wine list!
Very nice ambiance perfect for a date night. On the overpriced side. The appetizers were much better than the actual meal (we got the sample of all 4 and it was excellent.) Both pastas we feel like we could have made at home pretty easy- they were nothing special. They were still good though
The food is always so amazing and good, veggie and gluten free options too
awesome, great night for our anniversary. will be coming back soon.
Fiancé’s 50th - best dining experience I’ve had in Seattle
My favorite restaurant in Seattle, it never disappoints.
My sister and I came here for our birthday dinner and it 100% did not disappoint. Every course was amazingly delicious and we left completely satisfied. The sage butter noodles are to die for.
Absolutely amazing in every aspect
I arrived about 20 min early for 6:30 res, and let him know my friend was coming in the next few min. She did, but he said I was not able to sit down at my table. The restaurant was half full, plenty of open tables, and no one waiting. I had no place to wait. I’m elderly, and he could have been a bit more accommodating. I’m a return customer. I wasn’t drinking, so going out into the weather to another place to wait and drink was not a good suggestion.
Re. the food, the trout entree was very dry and unappealing. It belonged on toasts, with some sort of sauce. Pastas were good.
We were celebrating a special birthday in our group, and no mention was made of it, even though it was in the res.
Spinasse is a fantastic date spot to satisfy your craving for butter noodles while impressing that special somebody in your life with your ability to commit to a great entree (any of them will do) and a solid glass of wine.
We arrived about 40 mins early. There were 2 tables (out of the dozens of empty ones) that had people sitting at them. The host told us we couldn’t be sat yet because they were booked by earlier reservations? What? You are going to turn all these tables in the next 35 mins? Really poor experience. Just be honest and tell us the real reason, Whatever the case this left a port taste with me and I won’t be back. I don’t like arrogance!
Delicious pasta and food. Nice ambience. 10/10 would recommend
Had the 4 course menu. The experience was fantastic and service couldn’t have been better.
Spinasse is always a great date spot. Unbelievable food and service. Will be back again.
The food was delicious! The cipollini (appetizer) were really good and flavorful, reminded me of "escudella catalana". The pasta was fantastic! We got the sage & butter tajarin and the ragu tajarin. Both delicious!
Desserts didn't disappoint either, we ordered the Zuppa inglese and the Tiramisu, the first was good, I wish it had more lemon curd and torched meringue, the second was very creamy and not too strongly flavored of coffee.
Our experience was a bit noisy because we were sitting next to a lively table of four.
The only downside is how far ahead you need to book a table at Spinasse.
Outstanding service. Excellent fine dining Italian
Fabulous food in a friendly, comfortable setting. Noise level was conducive to talking quietly together at a table for two, even though the space is busy. Wine service was excellent! Absolutely worth it.
Food was amazing, service was on point and even though the wrong order was put in by our waitress, we got the right dish in under 5 minutes. Butter and Sage Tajarin needs to be offered in bigger portions!
Lovely ambiance, very knowledgeable staff with good recommendations. Wonderful butter and sage pasta.
What can I say this is our favorite place for pasta. We love to come here.
Service was awesome. Portions were very small. Taste was very good, but not amazing. Price was very high.
Lovely, knowledgeable waitress and delicious food. We'll go back soon.
Spinasse is absolutely the best restaurant I have ever been to, that’s saying a lot but Spinasse deserves the credit. The food is lovingly and impeccably prepared, the presentation and tastes are amazing and the wait staff knowledgeable and friendly. After eating at Spinasse every restaurant has to compete.
We enjoyed an assortment of entree’s, apps, and pasta. The waiter paired everything with a perfect glass of white and red wines. This was an amazing experience from start to finish. We are still talking about how good everything was.
I ate dinner here with my partner after reading a lot of great reviews. The food was very good, but neither of us were blown away. We both agreed that it wasn’t quite worth the price, and the overall experience wasn’t as great as some other nice (expensive) restaurants we’ve eaten at. We don’t have any major complaints, but we probably won’t come back.
Another great experience that will keep us coming back. We found some room on the menu to branch out from our usual order, and the new-to-us selections were just as good as our favorites.
We didn’t sit in our usual waiter’s section this time, but he stopped by to greet us anyway, our favorite dessert in hand. Amazing.
Loved everything. Food was satisfactory, we had the angel hair pasta alone and the ravioli special.
My absolute favorite restaurant. Love the cozy, quiet, conversation friendly environment with perfect cocktails and food.❤️Louise, our server, was flawless-friendly and kind!
Wow- this was an amazing dinner and evening. We celebrated my husband's birthday here as we LOVE Italian food and we'd heard great things about Spinasse for some time, but could never snag a reservation. It lived up to our high expectations! We followed our server's suggestions and shared a salad, a warm appetizer, two small pastas and an entree (beef cheeks). The barolo that was recommended was perfection. Everything was absolutely delicious and the handmade pasta just melted in our mouths. The stuffed cipollini onions were my favorite. We agreed that it was the best meal we'd had in a long time. The only not-perfect part was when we called in to say we were running a tad late due to ferries/traffic, they said that was fine, but alerted us to the time that we were expected to be done to accommodate the next party. Then they hung up. Maybe a connection issue? That felt weird, but once we were there, it was wonderful and everyone was very gracious and we did not feel overly rushed. But we did have our eye on the clock. We will return.
Souma’s se lived up to its reputation. The pasta was delicate, perfectly prepared and delicious. The sorbets were stellar. Expensive but we left with a new bar for primo Italian dining
Incredible food and service.
Food very good. Recommended scallop appetizer was bland. Pasta dishes were delicious. We also ordered pork chop, just ok. The wood seat booths could use improving.
Pretty good Italian food. The tiramisu dessert which is served in Mason jars was however a let down.
Best dinner I’ve had in a really long time. Highly recommend this place wow
