    I haven't lived in Seattle very long but even in the few Italian restaurants I have eaten here, this is not the best. Ranking it top 3 restaurants in the city is a complete joke. Under-sauced pastas and under-seasoned starters. Halibut was dry and plain. Would not go back.

    We arrived an hour and a half early. The hostess offered for us to grab a drink at their other restaurant next door while we waited for a potential opening. 20 minutes later we were escorted through a service entrance to our table with our drinks in hand. Food was great, service was excellent.

    Two appetizers, one pasta, and one entree left us perfectly stuffed with barely enough room for dessert. The butter sage pasta and chocolate cake are must order every time items. Would recommend the Arneis half liter / BTG great value on a delicious wine.

    The tasting menu was incredible. You get a ton of food, so I'd recommend eating something light or nothing at all that day! 11/10 starts overall!

    A little gem of a neighborhood restaurant that deserves a Michelin star at some point. Reminds me so much of the little bistros in Italy. We dine here every time we’re in the area. The pasta pork/beef ragu dish is a showstopper.

    Despite a reservation, they will not seat you until all members of the party are present. One friend was stuck in terrible traffic and the rest wanted to sit down and order drinks and appetizers. We were told "The chef requires that all items ordered be ordered at the same time." So we had to wait an extra 20 minutes, when we finally told them our friend gave up and went home. Traffic was horrible. It was a lengthy dining experience. We had a lovely time, and the food was good, but the main entrees - fish and steak - were $52 ala carte. Then any other items or salad was extra. Just be ready for that. For dessert they were charging $14 for a scoop of gelato (semi-freddo). It just seemed overpriced. Wait staff were attentive, then left us sitting for a long time before clearing or bringing dessert menus. Not sure if this was standard for them - just be ready to spend a lot of money and time.

    Spinnase was a very good restaurant overall. The space was very noisy and made it difficult to hear others at our table. The food was very good, but the main course was over salted. We would return, especially for the pasta.
