We both went for the early bird special. I had the salmon. My husband paid extra and had filet. Both were excellent. We will certainly go again. Service was excellent. Our dinner came with a bottle of wine and we had several wines to choose from or we could upgrade. We enjoyed the bottle we had.
Incredibly good food at a great value! The service was excellent also and we will be back again and again!

Early dining is a fabulous treat. Two entrees and a bottle of wine for $35. Fabulous variety of entrees!!
Having a 5:15 reservation and not getting served until 6:40 and we had no appetizers busy or not is unacceptable.
The waitress had too many tables and we waited long period of time for her to come back to our table.
The food is excellent and always served hot
Table was ready exactly when we arrived. Everyone was so polite and our guests actually remarked how upbeat everyone was. A special thanks to our server Sage. She was the best by far ! So friendly and energetic. She knew the menu backwards and forwards and her meal recommendations were spot on.

This is an excellent place to eat, small and comfortable, with inside and outside dinning, we prefer outside, so even in cold evenings they have the heaters on and it is wonderful.
Food is always done just right and tasty.
Food was a little late coming out Staff was very busy so had to ask for coffee again. Food was great. Our heater ran out of gas and it took awhile to get it going again
Our 7:30 pm outdoor reservation only ran 5 min late. Good wine list and cocktail selection. Nice variety on the menu. Warm crusty bread basket was brought out right away without requesting. Server was precessional and provided good service. Everyone was very happy with their meal. Will definitely come back.
Although OpenTable allowed me to reserve an Outdoor Table, the restaurant did not show it as an outdoor table and the hostess said there were none available. I had to request the Manager who created a table for us after I was able to verify it on my phone. It took about 15 minutes, but we were seated. We have been here several times. The food is good and we will be back. People with allergies should beware. There are items on the lunch menu marked as GF which are absolutely not and my meal came with raw apples (to which I have an allergy) and apples were not listed in the description. Their chicken salad contains nuts but no mention of it.
Average. OK for a quick meal.
The chicken melanaise was overcooked and dry. Needed a sauce. Would not order that entree again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the service, ambiance and food. Good variety to select from and they are very accomodating on special requests. Server was very helpful. Large outdoor seating area was nicely spaced and inside it looked like they had tables well spaced.
We have eaten at South Fork Grille a few times and have never been disappointed. Good Food and Service.

Consistent, consistent and consistent. The South Fork Grille never disappoints. The service is always outstanding - special kudo’s to Jessica, our server. Personable and attentive and always has a smile.
They allow dogs. It is disgusting to see dogs sitting on the chairs. Dogs bare butts probably cleaner than it’s selfish owner’s but not appreciated.
We absolutely love South Fork. All the people and especially the manager Alex is wonderful. If you haven’t tried it you must you won’t be disappointed
My wife’s birthday 12/31 they did absolutely nothing. She and my daughter are vegan and gluten-free. She called the restaurant in the morning the day before the reservation after realizing it was a set menu, when booking on opentable it doesn’t show that. The set menu did not work very well for them. She spoke to Sage who said she’d speak to the chef and call her back, she never called back. We should’ve cancelled the reservation but was hoping Sage followed through and spoke to the chef. The chef was great he came out to our table and did his best to accommodate them. Also being charged the set rate for the meal my wife and daughter ended up with was not worth the price at all, way overpriced. Needless to say my wife was disappointed with her birthday dinner at South Fork Grille. My father ordered the lamb chops I tried them they were tough and chewy very bad. They should’ve stuck to their original everyday menu. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
New Years Eve. Went with another couple. Both myself and my friends wife enjoyed every course of our meal! The service was very good.
On a Christmas Day the owners made a BIG mistake by not letting customers know in advance that there was only a limited prix/fix menu. There was a $25 cancellation fee and if you chose not to stay for the limited menu, you would be charged anyway. We had out hearts set on things not offered that night, like baked brie. My surf and turf entree was served with both items over cooked - the streak was not medium rare and the lobster was tough.
The saving grace of the night was our professional waitstaff member, Mallory. She was delightful, efficient, and empathetic. Thank you, Mallory!
We have gift certificates to use at this restaurant and we hope the regular menu is back, the food is well/prepared and Mallory is still there.
We are locals and have been to South Fork Grille many times. We were please to get a reservation as it was nice to start the New Year in a familiar establishment and did run into friends as well. Thank you!
NYE dinner. Everything was AMAZING! Chef David Robbins even came out and signed our menu! Our party enjoyed Wagyu beef tartar, Blue crab & House Gnocchietti, Heirloom tomato bisque, Organic beet salad, Miso & Mirin Sea Bass, Beef tenderloin & NE lobster tail, and Soice crusted Prime Rib. Every bite was savored and delicious. Even our 19 mo old son ate it all and loved it! We topped off the meal with the Chef’s Grand Cru Chocolate tasting and it did not disappoint. Thank you South Fork Grille for ending this crazy 2020 year on an incredibly high note!!
South Fork Grill is typically a good value with excellent food. The New Years Eve menu was Pre Fixe and appeared to be a fine dining experience. It, however, fell far short of that. The server was fine, but not experienced in fine dining. The table service was not what would be expected. , no water refills, no silverware changes between courses, a pre appetizer served as a palate cleanser. I like South Fork Grill & will continue to visit, but they were sure out of their element on NYE.
We eat at South Fork monthly. New year’s was a little pricey but food was good as always. Service was a little slow but we were happy to sit and chat.
The early dining menu that includes two entrees & a bottle of wine for $35 is a good one of which to take advantage. You can take the wine with you if you have soft drinks with dinner, as we did. My husband liked the Mahi Mahi, though he thought the risotto & sweet fruit topping made the dish a bit too sweet. You may want to steer clear of the flatiron steak, as you take a chance on the toughness. I was given the coconut shrimp to replace the steak & they were good but a bit undercooked. We will return, as there are many other selections we want to try.
Company visiting... had a reservation was seated promptly but then sat for 30+ minutes before anyone took order for drinks or served water... served food then had to wait again for drinks. Food fortunately was good but very disappointed with service.

The wait staff and servers were terrific.
We visited South Fork while on vacation. The food was good + - we had the muscles for an appetizer and they were BIG, my husband had the short ribs (small but well cooked) and I had the scallops over the banana nut squash (yum) the food was good but the star of the evening was the coconut martini and Lauren our server. Overall, very nice night!
Always good food and service.
This was a disappointing evening. My guest and I both ordered fish - Branzino and Mahi Mahi. My Mahi was dry, overcooked and inedible. The Branzino was slightly better. I sent the Mahi back and requested Branzino as a replacement. When my new dinner finally arrived (my friend had already finished her dinner) it was very good and exactly as it should have been the first time. The manager apologized saying they had been slammed and had a new chef. That's not the customer's problem. The less than delicious plates should never have come out of the kitchen. And, I should not have been charged the full price of my dinner. Sorry, South Fork, I will not be returning.

Food and service were fantastic! South Fork does a fabulous job!
We made reservations not knowing it was a special menu. We had little kids that don't eat much, we were told we could not cancel without a $25 charge per person. Food was overpriced, one entree was sent back. Will not go again.
