   I have loved the food for years but the service was always very nice but slow. Tonight was perfect. The new dining room was in the place of the prior Mexican restaurant next door. It was a lovely and comfortable space. The service was very good. The pacing was perfect. I was very happy with the mahi special. The brussels appetizer is so delicious. Well done SFG!

   This was our first visit to South Fork Grille. We took advantage of the early dining option which offered two entrees & a bottle of wine for $49. My husband had the cod dinner & I enjoyed the lamb shank. Both dinners were delicious. Our waitress was Jobe (not correct spelling, sorry) and she was delightful & attentive, but not overbearing. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other dinner choices.

   First, we had to navigate a few doors to find the right entry door. And although the food was delicious, the ambience needs work. Once they expanded, parts are bright and cold feeling. We were in the darker part which used to be their Mexican restaurant and it had a few very noisy groups so we could hardly hear each other. On a good side, our server was excellent!

   Party of 6. 3 had steak which they raved about. The scallops and risotto was mostly risotto, disappointing especially for the price. The shoestring fries were inedible, fries would have been better. My cod dish was OK. The Dijon horseradish sauce was the highlight. Overall meh for what you paid.

   Excellent Early Dining meal, cooked to order. Wonderful efficient service. Sidewalk dining is a little rough - the west sun can be hot even through the screen and both screens and overhead awning have tears, showing their age. No break between the mall road diners on sidewalk. But nice to have outside dining option!

    The food is always amazing at SouthFork. It seems that they are starting to update and blend the two restaurants together. It really does need to blend better and just become one style now.
