Art meets fashion in a deliciously romantic South of France setting. Sophie Cocktail & Terrace Bar will debut in the Montrose neighborhood, July 2024. The next see-and-be-seen nightlife destination will feature two distinct concepts, including Downstairs, Sophie's living room, an intimate cocktail bar, and an expansive second-floor open-air terrace bar. The menu will boast both signature and presentation-based cocktails, extensive selections of domestic and French wines, plus a delightful selection of Mediterranean tapas-style bites. I really liked everything about this bar. Their drinks were good, the severs were attentive, the food came out quick and it was tasty. We ordered a salad and the chicken sliders. The serving size, to me, was perfect as we just wanted to have a little something in our stomachs since we were drinking. I would definitely recommend for a night out.

honestly our server was really rude, took a long time to check on us, we asked for refills and like cups of ice and never received them, we’d walk up to the bar instead. the food was okay, it was outdoors and there was enough fans to make us feel comfortable

i’ve been here before but i hateeeeee how they will take reservations but once you get there if a bigger party asks for your table they WILL give it away, they don’t text you to give you a heads up either. i had a reservation at 9 downstairs in sophie’s room, showed up, and was told “ oh there’s an event down stairs going on still so there’s nothing we can do except seat u upstairs, even though i reserved downstairs. they need to fix that

Terrace was closed, had a reservation yet still got moved and tab kept getting closed like if we were going anywhere.

The drinks were nice and strong but tasted very smooth! And the prices were very very good! Our bartender/waitress was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was nice and cozy but the music was fun! We had the best time at Sophie’s! I can’t wait to come back again soon

Sophies is a great vibe and has great decor. Mu husband and I went for my birthday and were a little disappointed. If you are just planning on going for cocktails then you will be fine as the cocktails were good. One thing that was a little strange was that they had very few options for nondrinkers. My husband doesnt drink and they didnt have any soda apart from sprite and only had two very sweet mocktails. I would expect more in 2025, like zero alcohol beers or something. We tried all three appetizers and were underwhelmed by all 3. They weren't bad they just weren't good.

The weight staff was inattentive and the turnaround time for food and drinks was excessive. This was a backup restaurant due to the first choice canceling our reservation for my daughter‘s birthday and she was not accommodated for her special day let alone attended to.

I ordered the French toast, when it came out it was burnt and only one slice of toast on a small plate. It was completely over priced at $16. This place should stop advertising brunch and stick to the cocktails. While the rooftop was decorated nice, that was the only appeal for the restaurant. They also messed up our order as well as the order of three other tables around us. We all paid for the food received and just left to go eat somewhere else.
