    Very loud for Sunday brunch atmosphere. Just to many big tables of people. Not small quaint ones. Glad the weather was nice to move some the crowd to outside seating.

    To be honest, I’m not sure why I haven’t been here before, it was an amazing experience, Justin was as cute as a button. My husband, loved all the food (which is hard as h$ll) the ambiance is impeccable. We normally do “date night” at different restaurants. I’m thinking this is permanent date night spot. All my associates with the DOVA(Department of veterans affairs) will do the same. Your HR is on point!!!😘

    Reservation seating was over 30 minutes late and they would not sit us outside as our reservation requested. The hostesses were not very helpful or accomodating. Why make a specific reservation if it will not be met??!!! Our waitress was nice but the service was very slow.

    Went for lunch with friends. Food was very nice but a bit expensive for what it is (burgers/chicken sandwiches etc.). Despite not being particularly busy, service was slow. Waitress was slow to take orders and had to be flagged to refill drinks. But patio is very nice. Would give them another shot in hopes that the service was just having an off day.

    Brunch at SoLou was fantastic! Great food and beverages. Service was very good. The place is stylish and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that it gets a bit loud. But will most definitely go back.

    Our waitress Jade was very nice, she made us feel right at home. She was very knowledgeable, and she was very attentive and sweet. I ordered the ribs and they weren't good, so they replaced them and gave me the sweet potato pancakes. The pancakes came out soggy, uncooked in the middle and had a weird taste. The other appetizers were ordered were ok, the ambience was great, the atmosphere was nice and the people were amazing. I was just a little hurt, because I had heard so much about the restaurant that I drove 3 1/2 hours and the main food wasn't so great.

    Love the vibes of the restaurant. The staff has an amazing attitude from the time you step in the door till when you walk out. Definitely love the food and just the overall experience!!!!

    My wife and daughter seem to love this place, however I feel the menu is somewhat limited and overpriced for sure. Open patio concept is great until you get your food then you will be swarmed by flies which will get all over everything. Maybe some type of flycatcher or fan preventative would help. Noise loud even from outside. If you like swatting flies and getting chicken and waffles then you will love this place! With little effort and menu change along with some convenience pricing you would get much more business. FOOD FOR THOUGHT……….

    Justice was awesome, my friend said it was the best chicken tenders. He never had to potato pancakes were amazing. Kid and gravy was wonderful. Definitely go back.

    The food was delicious and our waitress, Jade was fantastic! Best waitress we’ve had so far. We traveled from Kansas and the dinner did not disappoint. The atmosphere was loud and.fun, but a bit chilly with the doors open,. However, I would absolutely recommend to others!

    Maybe going on a Friday night before a LSU home game was not the best time to visit SoLou but I was very underwhelmed by the food and while service was good, it wasn't great and if it had been great, it might have made up for the the other minuses. Drinks were ok although the bartender was overwhelmed and I literally had to tell him five times what drinks I had ordered. Definitely could have used more help. Stuffed shrimp were an ok appetizer; I thought the sauce was way too sweet and since there wasn't much spice on the shrimp, it just got overpowering sweet. Because there were some rather big parties seated ahead of us, we had about an hour wait between appetizer and main course. Our waitress, while nice, rarely checked in with us and literally disappeared for 30 minutes at one point. She did bring us a complimentary appetizer (white cheese dip and tortillas) which while a nice gesture, was the most unappetizing thing I've ever had. Main courses finally made it out and were underwhelming. Sandwiches were ok although weren't made to how we ordered them; the Fish Almandine looked liked they rolled the fish in almonds then cooked it vs. just putting some sliced almond on top as they finished it. All in all, very underwhelming and don't think I would go back again for dinner. Maybe a better brunch place but again, not going out of my way to go there again.

    Met up with a Friend at SoLou. We sat at the Bar and had a great experience. The drinks were on point and the complimentary Pork Rinds were delicious as well as our entrees. I recommend the Julep Freeze to cool off on a hot day.

    I do not like the pork rinds and queso or the cotton candy. Fish tacos, house salad and brownie dessert were delicious. I'm not sure why you have a tv playing ads in the dining room...takes away from the setting.

    A little confusion with reservations, but fixed quickly and kept us informed. The service was excellent. Kind, informative, patient, and on top of things. We had brunch. The temperature was hot and the quality was good. It was a busy morning but they kept up and we will be back mainly because of our waitress. She was great! Give it a shot!

    Had a wonderful meal last night there. The Shrimp and Grits and the fish tacos were so good !!! Another great item was their brussel sprouts. I could have eaten just a plateful of that.
