Solomon's Restaurant and Bar
Solomon's highlights vibrant offerings from the Pacific Northwest. Premium steaks and seafood are thoughtfully prepared alongside vegetarian creations and decadent desserts. With representations from the finest west coast regions, the extensive wine collection will perfectly accent any meal. We are inspired daily by the stunning sunsets over the Cascades and you will be, too! Solomon's is open Wednesday - Sunday, 5:00 pm - close. Reservations are encouraged.
My boyfriend had never been there so I took him for his birthday.
The food, all of it was so dang good, better then I remembered
Would highly recommend
Everything was wonderful. Our server was very attentive, ambiance was just right for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Food was great. Nice variety on the menu.
Beautiful setting, relaxing interior and great food! The service was impeccable.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to give Solomon's a try. The food and Service were excellent, everything was cooked to order so it was a nice, leisurely meal (we hate to be rushed).
When we made our reservation, our host said that since it was our wedding anniversary, we would be offered a glass of bubbly or a free desert. There was no offer made. This was disappointing, but it did not take away from the great food and service.
We will return.
Pricy but good for special occasions
Great service, ambiance, and food.
Great for a special evening. Quiet, nice atmosphere.
Food and service excellent.
I would rate it as one of Bend's top tier restaurants currently
Thank you for the outstanding review!
Great food with terrific service. The menu is so appealing and everything was done perfectly. Loved the quiet and sophisticated atmosphere.
We're so glad you enjoyed your recent dining experience with us! We appreciate your kind review, and hope to host you again soon.
Thank you for an amazing dinner and service. The food was exceptional and the service was wonderful! Appreciate a good night out.
Thank you so much for your outstanding review! We are pleased you enjoyed your dining experience, and hope to host you again soon.
Great food and and good service. Very noisy customer at bar. Waiter’s uniform and general appearance borderline for restaurant of this quality. There was one bar customer that was very loud and unfortunately using foul language. This is not what we expected at a small usually quiet restaurant.
Pork chops were not edible. Empty dining room yet we were seated right next to another couple whose conversation we could overheat. Bread was terrible. Lighting too dark.
We were celebrating an early New Year’s Eve with friends. Three of us ordered steak which came with chived potato purée. One of the steak orders was not cooked the way it was requested so had to be sent back, the potato purée was cold on all 3 orders. The bread was tasteless. Our bread pudding dessert was presented nicely but was over-baked, dry, & difficult to cut. The decaf coffee was foamy on the top, & we all agreed had to be instant Nescafé. We remembered that from our visit years before. A very disappointing experience & not worth the very expensive tab. We will not be back.
Best in Bend for entertaining a party of six.
We had the best birthday experience for Steph’s birthday! Thank you to Heath for making this night one to remember!!
Great food and excellent service.
Love this secret gem of bend. Food is amazing, the restaurant is a perfect size not to be over crowed- the views are pretty amazing as well.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a nice review, Sarah! We're glad you enjoyed your dining experience at Solomon's.
Better off at the ROE
Hi Tyrel, we're sorry to learn you didn't love your dining experience at Solomon's. We would love to learn the specifics of what you found disappointing so we can seek to improve. We hope you'll give Solomon's another try in the future!
We really enjoy Solomon’s, great service and ambiance. Always a treat! Love the view.
Thanks for the lovely review, Brian! We're so glad you enjoy dining - and the views! - at Solomon's.
Great personable service, delicious meal and desert.
A lovely review, Teresa! Thank you for such kind words. We're happy to know how much you enjoyed your dining experience at Solomon's.
Delicious food, attentive service. Ambience was standard for the setting (golf course). Clean and quiet. I’ll think back on the risotto for the rest of my days.
Was our first visit to Soloman’s, and we were celebrating a birthday with a party of seven. The setting is spectacular, overlooking the golf course and western Bend. And unlike most restaurants these days, it was very quiet. Our waiter, Heath, was really good. Food was all very tasty, including some stellar desserts. Only suggestion would be to make the entrees slightly larger. That said, we will definite be back.
Service was fine. Drinks and wine were excellent; but food was disappointing. Ribeye steak was well done - well past medium rare as ordered. My lady guests were. “meh”.
4 of us celebrating birthdays in one evening. Provided us a lovely charcuterie tray as a happy birthday- thank you very much. Great meal, great views. Nice atmosphere- nice that people dressed a little nicer.
Beautiful setting, sad to say mediocre food and just plain bad dessert.
Solomon has improved it's kitchen. Still why should the portions be so big. Make them smaller and improve on the taste quality, rather than the size of the meals. Service was excellent and the views and atmosphere are special.
Entree food was tasteless. No amount of seasoning could improve it. I had a glass of wine with dinner. The wine was flat. Tasted like it had been in an uncorked bottle in a refrigerator for several days.
On the positive side, the appetizer was good and the atmosphere and noise level in the restaurant was excellent.
Chef needs to start seasoning the food.
ambiance was very cozy, service was exceptional, food was great. Great experience and perfect setting for what we were looking for.
Thank you for dining with us! We're so glad you enjoyed your Solomon's experience, and thank you for sharing such a nice review. We hope to host you again soon!
Braden makes the best Old Fashion and provides unsurpassed service to the table. Our food both steak and seafood were good, the view great. Thanks again Braden.
Excellent meal in beautiful, quiet spot. Great service. One of
Bend’s best-kept secrets. Would highly recommend.
The Salmon was not throughly cooked...my burger was burnt as was my Brussels sprouts. Food was very disappointing. Server was really nice though.
Yes, but with a qualification re service and menu items; avoid Cyndi as your waitress as well as seafood cocktail (defrosted and flavorless shrimp and crab claws, sauce from a bottle) and Bouillabaisse (mediocre and very salty broth).
Maybe...........one out of our 3 dinners was good. Others just marginal.
It was our 49th anniversary and I had just be released from hospital and put on very restrictive low sodium diet. Called the chef
The day before and he prepared special salt-free polenta for me plus made sure the other things we ordered were low sodium. View was beautiful and noise level very good. Delightful evening. Wish he had been the chef at the hospital cuz his food (Ben) was ever so much better than their low sodium offerings!
Happy Anniversary to you, and thank you for celebrating such a special day with us! We are so glad our chef took such special care of you to craft a meal that worked for your new restrictive diet. We hope this message finds you recovering quickly and fully from your hospital stay, and we look forward to hosting you again when you're ready for your next evening with us. Take care!
Very enjoyable evening. The menu offered a wide variety of entrees; good food; the staff was professional; the atmosphere was very appealing and we would return.
Duck over cooked. Used canes onions to top pork.
We live in a place that has 36 brewery’s. And they didn’t have 1 wheAt beer.
Waiter if we we were “full enough”. Didn’t even offer desert or coffee.
Just wanted to get us out even thought only 4 tables were occupied.
Not worth it!
The service and views from Solomons were excellent. The waitstaff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was OK but not memorable. If the quality of the food was better, we would be more tempted to come back.
The ambiance was lovely with a great view. The old fashioned was the best cocktail I’ve ever had! The food was just ok, not bad but also not great. I could make the same thing at home but better. Would definitely come back for the view and a cocktail, just wouldn’t waste my money on subpar cuisine.
Our meal was absolutely superb. Everyone in our party of four was delighted with what they ordered. And best of all, our server Cindy was top-notch -don't let her go!!!
