Smoke & Salt is a modern neighbourhood restaurant and cocktail bar in South London. Our Culture and Craft menus celebrate heritage and creativity by blending global smoking, curing and preserving techniques with a deep respect for seasonal British produce. We are pleased to offer one of the cheapest tasting menu experiences in London - perfect for any special occasion.

Choose our Ringside seats for a front-row view of the kitchen and the chance to engage directly with the chefs throughout your meal.

In the bar, our cocktail menu follows the same principles: thoughtful, ingredient-led, and always evolving.

For a more casual evening without compromising on quality, we also offer a mid-week prix-fixe menu.

Excellent meal. Dishes are full of flavour and well presented. Wine pairings also very good. Would recommend, and hope to return soon.

Great service from start to finish, really enjoyed our cocktails in the back bar and the 5 course menu was fantastic! Highly recommend!

In a past life, I owned a restaurant which served extraordinary food and can say the Smoke and Salt is a wonderful restaurant. The open kitchen was a treat as we got to watch the dishes prepared and chat with the very accomplished Chef Chris. Flavor combinations were creative and well crafted. High quality presentation. Wine pairings by our host were well thought out and clearly described. Worth the fare and then some. I don’t know why this cute bistro is not booked out every night! A favourite now!
