Small Barn is an exciting part of the Temecula restaurant landscape offering a casual but elevated dining experience in the form of a modern bistro. The menu is inspired by classic preparations found on bistro menus around the globe while showcasing the bounty of ingredients produced in the region. The restaurant atmosphere is crafted to be a welcoming gathering place that is beautifully designed and relaxed, but with a vibrant energy that encourages socializing and discovery.

On the site of the historic Knott Family Homestead, Small Barn has brought new life to a landmark building from the early 1900s. Great care has gone into preserving the structure and with it the legacy of a prominent Temecula family that was among the area’s first settlers. Small Barn has maintained the original residential scale and offers extensive outdoor seating including the large wrap-around porch, covered patio and fireside lounge seating.

Small Barn is my favorite restaurant in Temecula. Outstanding Chef-quality cuisine with a reasonable price and a fantastic atmosphere. Definitely worth a try or repeat.

Small barn is a cute spot with good food but the reservation experience was not worth making a reservation if the restaurant is not going to accommodate your reservation request!!! It’s pointless to make a reservation if your seating request is going to be ignored. I thank Adrian the server for making our dining experience better so thank you!!

The food was great, ambiance fantastic (minus the misters) , the service was okay felt like our server had too many tables and it was hard for him to keep up. Would still recommend though.

The new menu has kicked everything up a notch!! Same incredible service and new items to crave, crudo top drawer, pork chop perfect and roast chicken exquisite.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service!!!! We were there on a Saturday night when it was fairly busy, but you wouldn’t know that by the quality and service.

My husband told the waitress he’s allergic to dairy. He ordered the chicken dinner. The waitress thought the Parmesan was in the breadcrumbs, so she discussed with us, taking off the breadcrumbs and preparing the chicken in olive oil versus butter. We thought that sounded good. But when it was delivered, it turns out there was shaved Parmesan still in the salad the chicken was sitting on! We let her know this. She apologized, but did not offer any deductions. We later thought a portion of our meal should’ve been Compensated.
