Burger and chicken was delicious. The service was a little lacking. Not sure they were ready for the Mother's Day crowd.
Mother’s Day fab cant beat these guys.
Always love the attention to detail and service at Small Barn. Presentation is great and the food even better. Staff is well trained and attentive.
Food was decent, ribeye had parmesan crust that was overly thick and way too overpowering for good cut of beef.
Service was poor.
We were late for our reservation due to time zone confusion. The hosts were very accommodating and made us feel welcome despite our error. We had brunch on a busy Saturday morning and the server was cheerful and helpful. The food was terrific, had eggs benedict, smoked salmon avocado toast and the breakfast burger. The only food item that wasn't really great were the side potatoes, just meh. Also had bloody mary's, sangria, irish coffee and a mimosa. Drinks were a little slow coming out, but everything else was terrific, best meal of our weekend.
Amazing brunch! Great atmosphere good food awesome service can’t wait till next time!
Our booking was at 7:30pm we were only seated at 8pm. Food and drinks were amazing but we could tell kitchen and bar were behind. We had to rush to make our another reservation at 9pm.( 90 min is normally ample time for dinner) I think it’s a little cheeky telling us we couldn’t be longer than 5 minutes late for our reservation then make us wait 30min to be seated. Venue, food, drinks and server were great tho! Just wish we didn’t have to rush. Next time I’ll clear my schedule 😜
Our first time and we loved it. We did sit on the side with the coverings with a small table:
Food was great but unfortunately, the service was not. Reservation was for 8:15, several people showed up and seated after us, yet we were the last to leave because service was so slow to take and put our orders in. Then they forgot our bottle of wine the first time we ordered it, so we asked again. We ended up getting one of the appetizers before we ever got our wine. Furthermore, they forgot to bring a heater the first time we asked for it, so we also asked for that again as it was a very cold night. Overall for a Thursday night, my husband and I had a hard time understanding why the service was so slow. Food was great but not enough to make us come back.
Small Barn is our new favorite brunch spot in Temecula. The ambiance is and decor is absolutely perfect. Most of the dining is outdoors which makes it a perfect place for brunch.
The food was amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious. And our waitress and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!
Best restaurant in Temecula - hands down. Food is excellent. Menu changes seasonally.
Great food. Good service. Great spot for a night out.
A wonderful experience.
My husband and I loved the outdoor atmosphere, the food, and the service was fantastic!! Our server Selena, was friendly and very professional. She is one of the main reasons we will back very soon.

I absolutely love the ambiance of Small Barn! The vibe is very comfortable and it’s great for people watching as people stroll down the Main Street in downtown Temecula. We arrived promptly at 10am (when our reservation was for) and were the second people sat in the whole restaurant. We saw that everyone around us was being seen and served, but no one approached us for 30 minutes. We had to flag down another server to help us, she got us drinks. Finally 40 minutes into our stay, our server arrived and told us she just clocked in. Once she was there, she was lovely. But it was bizarre for the restaurant to seat us somewhere that had no server. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic, and although the day got off to a rough start, I would go here again!
Smaller menu, excellent execution! Cocktails are yummy. Love this place!
The food was outstanding, very unique and very delicious. The service was perfect snd the atmosphere was great. They were very accommodating to some allergies we had, and we have a new favorite restaurant! Would highly recommend. It was our 2nd visit and truly full of taste treats.
Absolutely great outdoor dining location. Right on the strip of Old Town Front Street. Cool layout. Gravel dirt floor. Modern Rustic Chic style. Cool seating areas with heaters. Food was amazing and the drinks were handcrafted and tasty. Great date night on summer nights.
Amazing staff along with amazing food. We both had the burgers one vegan. Probably the best vegan burger I've ever had. We will be back.
From the beginning we had great customer service! The atmosphere was beautiful! The whole staff was kind, professional and accommodating. We had Lex as our server. He was on his game and never missed a beat. We highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! Food and drinks were A++
Both drinks and food were spectacular.
Amazing food my favorite was the Wagyu Breakfast burger. Super cute place and great atmosphere
Perfect outdoors corner spot right on Front Street in Old Town Temecula for a meal with tons of ambiance, great attentive service and the freshest, tastiest fare around.
Best yet, they take reservations!!!! And this in a place where the average wait for a meal can take 90+ minutes on a weekend.
Very cozy seating great for people watching.
When we ordered we were give the choice of having the meal as it came from the kitchen or all together. They prepare everything there fresh and prefer to serve at the peak of freshness / readiness rather than holding up the whole table. (We chose that way and weren't disappointed.) Even the Chocolate Cookies (for dessert) were made fresh (and well worth the wait.
We were a table of 6 and no one was disappointed with their meals or drinks.
Mimosas were serviced with choice of orange or pineapple juice and the bloody marys came with a thick piece of bacon (yum). We each ordered something different and weren't disappointed and shared around.
Very happy and will definitely be going back again.
Chef Angelo is the best Chef around. Food is delicious and very creative. Small Barn ambiance is upscale but welcoming for people to have great time to gather after a long work week. Definitely a favorite in Temecula.
Niece and her spouse celebrating bday. Amazing food and great service as always
It was an amazing experience from the food and drinks, to the service. We can't wait to go backm
Everything was great! They were awesome!!! They accommodated us perfectly!
Food was excellent!!
Made the reservation without knowing anything about Small Barn and was so pleased! We were first seated in the hot sun and they kindly made accommodations to move us the service was great the food was awesome and we all decided we will be back! Dreaming of the waffles with bacon jam!
Selena and all staff were so kind!! The food and ambiance were phenomenal! I will definitely return soon!
Fast friendly efficient
Date night with the Wifey, great little place. Outdoor dining so that was nice with current conditions. Open table process was smooth. Reservation was at 7 they were packed think we were seated at 7:30 which was ok since I figured they were crazy busy. Chicken pesto was amazing and so was the Burger. Drinks were good, concept was different and I appreciated that. Overall great experience felt like place was clean and well taken care of. Servers were awesome very friendly and I made sure to reflect gratitude upon paying for our evening. I will visit again.
We are assuming that because we had our two year of with us is why they sat us inside in the corner away from everyone else. They forgot things we asked for multiple times and could barely hear our own waitress inside because the kitchen staff was SO loud. Food is always great here but wish they treated me the same when I come with or without my kids. It’s like two separate experiences.
The food was very overpriced, cold, & not tasty. I ordered the steak frites since it had such great reviews. My friend got the mushroom vegan burger and she said it was mediocre. Food took awhile too. The waitress was super kind and her service was great. Ambience was also great.
Everything Was Delicious and team was top notch, friendly and made you feel as if you were at home.
Once again, Small Barn hits a grand slam with impeccable service, gorgeous atmosphere, stellar wines and an AMAZING new menu. We noshed on the Tomahawk for 2 and the new Spring salad paired with a bottle of Small Barns own 2017 Rose’- it fed all three of us, and all we could do was gush about how perfect everything was.
Although this place lands on the pricier side, it’s worth EVERY penny. Count us in for weekly Friday lunches!
Love it there and the staff were great. They just forgot to bring my meal out and my husband was done by the time they realized.
Lovely outdoor venue in old town Temecula. The burgers were top notch.
We went by with reservations and were seated quickly. I am a foodie, and LOVE to try new things. However, the VERY limited menu was full of such very unusual and very expensive items, that we chose to leave. There was only one item on the menu that my husband might have been interested in (a Australian wagyu burger that was $24), and the steaks ranged from $55 - $85, so that was ridiculous. Most of the limited menu (seriously about 8 main items to choose from and about 4 appetizers) was not appealing (seared octopus, for example) and just not very appetizing to US anyway. I might stop by with a friend sometime for dessert and coffee, but the menu overall lost our interest. I would not recommend to most people unless they don't mind very few choices and highly unusual food.
