Waiter forgot my 2nd glass of wine. Took much too long to bring intitial drinks
Service was great. Food was expensive and not very good.
Last year it was Terra Bistro. Excellent food and service. Now I guess it’s supposed to be hip. It’s just not very good. Misses the mark for after concert dining.
Service was very good. Atmosphere was very nice. Food was good but not great.
Nice atmosphere, great wine selection and very nice people. Highly recommend.
Delicious Delicious Delicious!! Must eat if your in vail and the cocktails are super unique.
Best martini I had in a longggg time!
Service was absolutely amazing!
treated as valuable clients, wait staff was on the ball and very attentive
Josh was excellent and we appreciated his attention to all the details!
First visit to Vail and this was the best meal of our trip. Our server Diego was great.
When your salad comes before your cocktails you know you are in trouble. Halibut was dry as toast. Better places in Vail to spend your money
Experience was great from the hostess seating us to the waiter. The food was outstanding and fun uniques drinks. We would strongly recommend.
We had an exceptional dining experience at Slope Room! We visit Colorado annually and we WILL be back!! Our server was stellar and the steak he recommended was off the charts delicious! So great!!!!
Awesome restaurant with terrific service and great food. My wife and I had a wonderful time and our server Diego and one of the wait staff Matt provided us truly excellent service!! I do think that the prices get a bit ridiculous but the food quality is high so it’s a trade off. Bison Ribeye was absolutely magnificent!!
While the service was good it took too long to bring the dishes and the employess were confused as to the orders.
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the experience despite the hiccups in timing and service. We hope to welcome you again in the future.
Table not ready when promised. Understaffed and slow service. Unfriendly bartenders. Toughest Waygu I have ever had. NO A/C on a 90 degree day in Vail.
Restaurant was uncomfortably warm.
No air conditioning.
Mixed drinks were expensive.
Our server was great. Helped us pair wine with our dinner.
The food was delicious and prepared perfectly.
Unfortunately we had a table of 4 toddlers next to us.
Their parents did not control them very well. Jumping on the chairs and screaming.
The final straw was they were playing simon says next to the table.
3 tables left at once!
At some point mgmt needs to step in to protect the experience of the rest of their guests!
Made reservations for our anniversay. They placed us in an non air condition area. We had to request another table. The menu options were very limited. I was interested in a 6-8 oz steak. The option was a 5 oz. The bread that was served was very salty. The sides dishes were not to our liking. The halibut was good was my second choice. Too many screaming kids next to our table. We were looking for a better experience after spending $172.
Great food and service. The Waugh Hot Stove, mussels, and pork appetizers were amazing. Outside seating would be a big plus.
We are so happy you have a fantastic experience at Slope Room! We are currently under construction on a patio and hope to welcome you back when it's open!
Great food and service. Vegetarian and vegan options. Servers were attentive and helpful.
Thank you for the great review, Sindy! We are glad you enjoyed the food and service and cannot wait to welcome you back in the future.
Our evening started off great with appetizers: mussels and pork belly. It ended terribly with our entrees: overcooked/mushy pasta, flavorless lobster and mushy brussel sprouts. A filet that came out 20 minutes after dinner was served was also over cooked. It took a long time to get our second round of drinks because the bar was backed up. The atmosphere is great, the service was great but the kitchen needs serious improvements if we are going to spend $300 again.
Thank you for your feedback, Mimi. We are glad you received good service and we will be following up with our kitchen team with your feedback on the menu. We hope to be able to welcome you back in the future.
It was like having dinner In a Disco the music was so loud. Then they sat us near a window that was wide open and the noise from the busses and cars on Vail Valley Dr was terrible on top of the cold air. I would have needed a jacket to stay there. We asked to be reseated. The whole redesigned place lacks intimacy and is cavernous like a dance hall. We took out the corn chowder and left. On top of this we live In the neighborhood and know the new restaurant owner is disrespectful of the local parking at the condos on Gore Creek Dr. So the new restaurant is consistent with his behavior…not nice, not respectful. Better to patronize other places that are good neighbors; not this guy.
Fabulous staff, excellent food!
Thank you for the great view, Holly! We are glad you chose to celebrate with us and received great service and food. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
This is a great new restaurant for the Vail food scene, and it’s about time. Service was attentive, food was creative and delicious. Sound level is too high - so noisy it was hard to have a conversation. Space is a bit dark with all the stained dark wood. Cocktails pricy and short but food prices fair.
The food and service were delightful. Everyone enjoyed their meals…lobster, lamb and pork followed by the sticky toffee and baked Alaska desserts. Would have preferred a table away from the Friday night bar scene.
Thank you for the great review! We are so glad you had a great time and are happy to make sure you are away from the hustle and bustle of the bar the next time you dine with us. We hope to welcome you again soon!
We had the sweet corn soup. We shared a bowl and the kitchen split it. They charged to split which seemed silly. The sour dough bread which is From a local bakery is divine. The Wagu rib eye which was delicious and a good value given the quality of the beef. The whipped Potatoes were over salted and little starchy; maybe they can make them with a River to improve the texture. The asparagus and pork belly were perfect. Our server Ben was attentive.
My sister and I celebrated our 28th birthday at the Slope Room and it was exceptional. From the service and ambience to the food, I would not have changed a single thing. This place is perfect for special occasions.
High quality flavorful food with great menu selections. Great ambience. We enjoyed the vegetable and pork belly appetizers (2 different appetizers) bison main entree, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and dessert. The experience was even better due to impeccable, friendly, quick service. Will come back again.
Food was not hot-warm. Halibut overcooked. Ok, but no need to rush back.
Food was average for the cost.
Ordered the pork chop medium rare and it was well done and the toughest pork chop I have ever had. Halibut from the ala carte menu was only fair for the price.
Best part of the dinner was the Beet and tomato salad.
Restaurant is beautiful and very nice. Food is okay and over priced, wine list is also overpriced for the same wine that other places have for less. Dinner for 4 people is easily $500.00
Waiter was great, Kebo? Food, potatoes crusted halibut and striped bass were also excellent.
i was under dressed, it was a little embarrassing but they didn’t shame me for it. quality dinner and amazing service.
The recommendations provided from beverages, entrees and sides for on par. We enjoyed our experience and can’t wait to come visit again.
Food, hostess and ambiance were excellent. Table service was subpar with long periods of inattention by our server who was very pleasant, but perhaps spread too thin. Forgotten items and empty glasses throughout the meal. Food would be dropped at the table and she would disappear before we could request additional items such as forgotten items or serving utensils. One side dish arrived after we had all finished our entrees. When dropping almost $700 for party of 4, I would not consider this a good value. Will try again, but not anytime soon.
We tried the slope room at the urging of a friend. I thought the food was inspired. It’s the first time in a long time that I had a vegetable dish that was thoughtful and interesting.
Unfortunately, the service was slow and the room too warm. These are fixable issues.
Fantastic wine list, beet salad, lamb loin & steaks. Sauces 5 stars. Will go to Slope every time we visit Vail.
Menu has something for everyone. The ambiance is upscale, but comfortable. staff is friendly. Food was delicious!
Service and food was awful. Worst meal I’ve had in the valley
Lovely dinner; great drinks, great food. Very accommodating staff. And an interesting menu.
