Food was delicious and service was excellent. It was a little crowded for those concerned with social distance during Covid
Great food and great service! Everyone in our party of five ordered either the filet or strip, all were cooked perfectly. We split a few sides amongst the table: the truffle potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, croquettes and a flight of a steak sauces.
Great. Food, Service and atmosphere.
Very pleasant!
Slope Room was excellent. This is the former Terra Bistro and is a major upgrade.
Awesome food! The Lamb Shank was unbelievable. The best place in vail.
Creative dishes in a beautiful space
Love the space of The Slope Room. Food was excellent as was the service. Will definitely come again!
Poor service, waiter didn’t come to our table until almost after an hour of being seated. Group of 6 sitting at a booth like table with high back velvet benches was not very comfortable and felt crowded.
We visited twice in 2021 and both meals were outstanding. Every dish was excellent.
Exceptional food and better ambiance. The 14oz Bison is a MUST!
Service was excellent and meal was well timed, not rushed or dragged out. Great menu and we enjoyed the salmon and pork chop. Cocktails also were interesting and quite good.
A truly wonderful experience. The service was on point with great recommendations based on our tastes and preferences. The food was phenomenal... inventive combinations that really stood out - highlights were the hamachi crudo, seared salmon entrée, and cobbler for dessert. Cocktail and wine selection were also great. Value for the quality was definitely there. Will definitely return.
Hands down the best service we’ve had in Vail during our 5 day trip. Several of the other upscale restaurants we dined at in the village had amazing food but the service was sub-par. Slope Room was excellent all across the board!
Gorgeous restaurant but like others said absolutely no social distancing. Additionally, the food was mediocre especially for the price. The Caesar salad didn’t have enough dressing, the French onion soup was good, the potato croquettes were so dry we sent them back, the lobster Mac and cheese was just OK, the whipped mashed potatoes were room temperature, and the filet was a bit over cooked. Wine was very good. Service was great though and very accommodating of food allergies.
This place has a lot of potential, just needs to improve on the food quality.
We had a great experience, food and service was amazing!
Excellent chef! Delicious food, probably our best meal in Vail!
Perfect restaurant, from food to service, ambience, music, drinks. Such a great addition to Vail, it was our favorite from the trip and we went to a lot of restaurants being here for 10 days.
Nothing to say
Beautiful restaurant but food is a miss. Chef trying too hard and it was a total disappointment.
Prior to our annual trip to Vail, my wife conducted some research to find the best dining experiences. Slope Room was one of the locations she uncovered. Appeared to have terrific reviews so we made a reservation for 4.
Although things started out well, it quickly became apparent we were on the clock. I completely understand that given the world of Covid, businesses need to make adjustments to stay afloat and insure their employees have jobs. I fully support that stance. However, I felt the waiter was anxious to get our order in, served and billed as quickly as possible.
What I don't support is serving less than average food at Vail prices. My wife and I dine out quite frequently and have come to expect the price to match the quality / service offered. In the case of Slope Room it was a huge miss. When the meals came out, 3 arrived together and the 4th about 5 minutes later. Out of respect, we waited for the 4th dish to arrive. Two of the parties selected meat dishes which literally looked like meat hammered into pancakes. I selected the scallops which appeared deep fried. In fairness, I am sure they were not but the flavor profile would suggest otherwise. My wife and I agreed to share our dishes so she went ahead and moved 2 scallops to her plate and cut a portion of meat for me. When she asked how the scallops were I said not sure, have not tasted one yet. She looked at me perplexed and said you mean you only got 3?? I said correct, but I am sure they are terrific - sorry to say - not the case.
Things never got any better as the evening progressed. When the $500.00 bill came the only thing I could say was massive disappointment. Bottom line, if you are looking for steaks and seafood served at places like Capitol Grill, Manny's, Gibson's, Gene & Georgetti's stay home. Although prices are the same, the food at Slope Room will be a complete disappointment. If you choose to go, stick with the bar and drinks only - the ambiance there is fabulous!
Service was slow. The hot rock Wagyu was very good but the rest of the food was fair. Very expensive for what it was.
They were out of a lot of food on the menu. 3 different wines were asked for and those were out as well. Lobster mac n cheese was by far worst we have ever had. Had higher expectations.
Fabulous dinner
There was absolutely no social distancing. Many large groups standing around the bar. We had a multi course meal served on a tiny bar table.
Mom visiting son and enjoying a nice dinner after many projects with him at his apartment.
We loved the stylish decor, cozy atmosphere, craft cocktails, service and food. This is a new favorite in Vail!
Food and service good.
Make a reservation a months out and they want to seat me in bar area with small bar table for 2 of us. Bar is loud.
Had to request to move to a table.
One of the best meals I’ve eaten in awhile. The wagu was fantastic. All the food was the highest quality.
Great food, great service, great everything!
Great service, fun waiter. Would recommend over other "name" restaurants in Vail Village.
Wonderful food, service, drink menu and wine list. Loved it, highly recommend trying it.
Great, amazing place ! Delicious food and nice personnel. I love this place.
Wagyu beef on the hot stone was exceptional! Loved the olive cake too. Service was outstanding. Vibe great too.
Exquisite food. Beautiful new decor in Gravity Haus. Fabulous menu - can’t wait to come back!
The steaks were burned, they forgot our sides and then brought one of two and the mashed potatoes were room temperature. The waitress told me they were “struggling” when I asked her for bread and butter for the table. It was slow, non existent service, extremely overpriced for tiny portions and poorly prepared. The restaurant itself is stunning so it is a pity.
Delicious drinks and food! We had a great time, wish we could've tried brunch but they were booked!
Food was great as was the atmosphere
The service was amazing and so was the food.
overall good experience. fast service, nice friendly staff. Food is good. I can recommend steak tartar, lamb shank and rib eye steak, onion soup is ok
