   We had exceptional food. The pork chop in particular and the Bussels that came with were just lovely. Such fun cocktails and very nice by the glass wine selection--everyone got just what they wanted. Our waiter, Alex, was so helpful and attentive. Hadn't seen our kids in a while so quieter noise level was great for conversation. Just an enjoyable experience.

   The restaurant had a charming ambiance and I was eager to try their highly sought after 21-day dry aged bison ribeye. Unfortunately, it was sold out when I arrived, so I opted for the grass-fed ribeye which was tasty. However, my children's order from the kids menu - chicken breast with vegetables. This was a disappointment as both the chicken and the carrots were burnt to a crisp. Although the waiter mentioned this was the norm, my kids refused to eat it. The table beside us ordered the wagyu hot stone, but when they placed the meat on the stone, it immediately produced smoke which filled the room causing the table behind us to cough. To our surprise, the manager was reluctant to acknowledge the issue, citing that they sold the hot stone dish all day without complaint. Eventually, the manager did open the windows to let fresh air in, but this experience overall was not enjoyable.

    A great find. The food is a bit different, the ambiance cozy, and the staff was very attentive. I would make it a definite Vail dining experience.

    Waiter and staff were great. Food was proportioned well and presentation was good. The mezcal coffee drink was fantastic- i chose the mixed drink because their beer selection was not great. The 2-top table we were placed was a little strange.

    Very charming and well run restaurant. The service staff are knowledgeable and experienced. Mangers are supportive to the staff and insure a great dining experience for all guest. For vail it’s the only true “dining” experience we had while there. All the other places were just places to eat compared to the Slope Room!

    The Wagyu hot stone was outstanding 10/10, and everything else we tried was top notch. You could taste how fresh the ingredients were in each dish. Drinks were good and the service was even better.

    Very load. Food and service was great. But I felt like I was eating an expensive dinner at Mid Vail with the ski school crowd. Why do parents fail to contribute l their kids so others can enjoy their adult dinner

    It's rare that I give 5 stars across the board, almost never but hey, Slope Room hit on all cylinders. Walter Scott 2020 Pinot was excellent as recommended by our server. The chicken was superb, cooked to perfection with some nice gnocchi and sauce. Others at our table had the short ribs and love it. I had a Simple Salad that was lightly dressed and super fresh greens. My wife had the beet salad which had amazing flavor. The room's ambience was warm, inviting and modern country. The service was excellent so year...5 stars it is! Nice job and strong recommend!

    Absolutely outstanding restaurant. Visiting from London, U.K., and this was one of the best restaurants we eat at during our ski trip. The food and service was outstanding. It’s expensive, but worth it (unlike a lot of other Vail restaurants).

    The Slope Room does not disappoint with the food or atmosphere. The place was bustling but that had no impact on the timing of our food. The food came out quick and cooked to perfection.

    We had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time for the table, once we receipted we waited 20 minutes before we got our first drink, service was not good, and they automatically had 20% on the bill regardless. Will not be returning. Years ago it was great
