    The slope room was a little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. Our great experience started with a warm welcome from the front of the house. Cody, our server was very attentive and knowledgeable in the menu and the choices. The cocktails were top-notch and the meal was fantastic. I would definitely recommend and come back.

    After a year away, we returned to The Slope Room for dinner, and I'm thrilled to report it exceeded even my fond memories. This Vail gem has solidified its place as my top dining choice in the area. We began with the burrata and stone fruit salad—a perfect balance of creamy richness and bright, seasonal flavors that showcased exceptional ingredient quality. The cornbread proved irresistible (so much for the diet!), with a texture and flavor that had us savoring every bite. For mains, my wife's filet was cooked to perfection, while I couldn't resist the short rib. The latter was a masterclass in preparation: incredibly tender, deeply flavorful, and remarkably clean—no excess grease, just pure, satisfying taste. Though we'd planned to skip dessert, the staff surprised me with birthday cookies featuring molten chocolate centers that were absolutely divine. It's these thoughtful touches that elevate the experience beyond just excellent food. The service struck the perfect note—genuinely friendly without being intrusive. The dining room itself is beautifully appointed, with striking David Yarrow photography adding sophisticated ambiance. Perhaps most impressive? The pricing feels fair for this caliber of cuisine and service. Having dined at most of Vail's restaurants recently, I can confidently say The Slope Room has earned its place at the top of my list. Kudos to the chef and entire team—we'll absolutely be back! If you are wondering, I have not been paid or asked to write any of this.

    We loved this restaurant. Every dish we tried was amazing. The service was great and they were accommodating for our young children. One of our favorites in Vail!

    Diego was personable and on top of everything from the time we sat down. The Wagyu Strip special was so flavorful and would highly recommend!

    Absolutely superb! They delight and serve with excellence. Food is best in Vail, one of our favorite dinners ever. Don’t miss it—you will not regret.

    The meals were good. I had the Chelan Seabass, which was excellent. My wife had the scallop and shrimp fettuccine with the sauce. At the beginning, the waitress told us or asked us if we had any food allergies I said yes I'm allergic to turmeric. She wasn't sure if any of the dishes had them, but would check. She came back and said it was saffron. We found out after that. It was turmeric. It was a good thing that I didn't need it or they would be on the hook for an ambulance ride. We did have the corn crème brûlée, which was excellent prior to that we had two drinks which I thought were overpriced and very skimpy But good. Overall, the restaurant was good if you wanna pay a lot of money.

    From the moment we walked in tonight we felt welcomed and important. Our server Jackie had exquisite menu knowledge. She also held conversation like a pro. I would return just to have her be our server again. The food was phenomenal and very unique. I’m already planning my next visit. Thank you guys!
