Siena Tuscan Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Waiter was excellent with soft acoustical guitar-wine list was somewhat limited(Pinot noir) and costly-we tried three appetizers-bruschetta was excellent with the bbq octopus good as well-toscana salad was delicious and the frutti di mare which was really good -no dessert as we were soooo full
Cozy atmosphere, impressive wine list, exquisite food with impeccable service. The chef really knows how to cook a great steak. We really enjoyed chefs menu for Valentine's day. Being warmly greeted at the door with a glass of champagne was one of those added touches that you can't forget.
The night was perfect! Confused when we asked if we could go to the lower level speak easy, told it was full and they were sorry...6 of us left...4 ....went down to have drinks at the speak easy, that was confusing and slightly upsetting to my husband. The food at the restaurant was great. Sure wish they would add some other desserts~ maybe go back to a Crème brule?
This is our favorite place to treat ourselves. Because the menu is seasonal, there's always something new to try, and a delicious surprise around every corner. Food is a bit pricey so we reserve Sienna for special occassions, but it's always worth every dollar.
This restaurant is at the top of my list to go to for any occasion. It is a little pricy but well worth it (food was excellent). We went for Brother & Sister Birthdays (80 & 70th) - with children, grandchildren, nephews - I have to say it was one of the best family outings in a very very long time. Thank you for making it easy. We will Be back.
We went before a concert at the Orpheum. The service was excellent. Our server made great wine suggestions to pair with dinner. The grilled octopus was delicious as was the braised rabbit. I really love that they have small bite desserts! It's nice to have a little sweet without a huge commitment. The menu had a wide variety of options. We will go back!
What restaurants used to be. You remember, when you had some scratch, and wanted to take someone special out to a really nice dinner without guessing whether it would be a pleasurable experience without any hassles? You know, back when servers used to earn their 20 or 25 percent, instead of how these days you practically have to serve yourself. Eating out has sort of become like gambling these days. You have to choose carefully, go through a handful of bad experiences, waste a lot of money, and then stumble into a place that resembles a restaurant and hope to get lucky. Sometimes you hit the jackpot. Siena is the jack pot. Don't waste your time anywhere else if you are looking for a sure thing for your dining experience. I took a date, we both got whatever we wanted, and made it out of there for $80 including the tip. It felt like we had been to the food spa. It was different from anything I have ever experienced.
In a word, Superb. The tasting menu, while expensive by Wichita standards, is much less costly than comparable dining in Europe. The service is excellent. Our server, Kyle, is knowledgeable, personable, professional and added great value to our experience. The timing of the courses was perfect, his explanations of the processes/ingredients was succinct and helpful. When we first arrived there was a large group that was quiet rude and loud, but they left and the ambiance was vastly improved by their exit. Excellent place for special occasions or just a fun night out. The 2 hours we were there flew by, and was a memorable experience. We will definitely return.
We were celebrating a first-anniversary lunch, and our meal was fabulous in every way. The wine was excellent, the food (salad, entrees, foccacia, dessert, and coffee) couldn't have been better, and Brandon provided impeccable and attentive service. It's a gorgeous "clubby" venue in downtown Wichita. Quite a find!
Absolutely one of the best....if not the best in Wichita. I have now been twice. I was hopeful that my second visit would live up to the first....and it was even better! Amazing food and excellent service. They have a great wine selection. It is also connected to the Ambassador, which is a very nice hotel. I definitely give this place my 5 star rating. I can't wait to go back again!
My four friends and I went to the restaurant to celebrate a friend coming home from overseas. The hostess barely spoke to us. We were seated and our waitress came to the table. She asked if we had ever been to Siena before in which we replied that we had not. She huffed and told us that the steaks were good and that she would be back after we had a chance to look at the menu. We wanted to purchase a bottle of wine but she never asked us if we wanted anything to drink. My friend tried to ask her but she ignored her and walked away. We sat there for another 5 mins and decided that our money would be better spent elsewhere, so we left. I won't be going back.
We stayed in the hotel adjacent to the restaurant, but chose to eat there based on reviews and the menu, not the location and convenience. Due to a convention of lawyers in town, all tables were booked, but we were seated at the bar (they gave us prior warning) with excellent service and the full menu. We dined on steak (Yes it's beef country) and a rabbit dish with pasta. Both excellent. Also a highly respectable wine list. Our first visit to Wichita...en route to the eclipse in Nebraska, this provided proof of creative and excellent dining available in the midwest.
