Everything at Siena was absolutely perfect. Amy was our server and she was wonderful. The food was superb. The only complaint I would have would be that we were only four people celebrating our granddaughter‘s birthday. we were placed at a table next to a large group of 12 to 14 people celebrating a birthday. They were extremely loud and it was hard for us to hear each other. It seemed strange that they would put three or four tables with only 2-4 people in an area with such a large group.

We consistently have excellent meals here, and the service people are wonderful. The assorted meats and cheeses are outstanding starters, and the rest of the menu is diverse and consistently terrific, with seasonal changes in offerings (get the peas with prosciutto, which is fabulous as a side). We prefer to sit in the "wine room." I withheld one star on this review because on the evening we were there the two hostesses were dreadful, unhelpful, and rude. We arrived early and had to wait 15 minutes for a table already bussed and ready. When I asked if I could take a nearby seat at an empty high top one of them said, "Only if you buy a drink." Whatever the opposite of charming is, they were. At the end of the evening, with a dozen tables still active, they both sat at the end of the bar chatting, not even thanking departing diners. Restaurants cannot afford to employ people who think their jobs would be great if customers just didn't get in their way.

Service was extremely slow. She would ask one if they wanted a refill but not the other even though both glasses were empty I ordered filet special medium rare and it came out medium to well. I sent it back and it took thirty minutes and was still too well. My family had finished their meals before I teds my second filet. No one offered to take it off the bill. Very disappointing.

We had a very nice time at Siena and would highly recommend it to other diners. We both had the short ribs and shared the toffee bread pudding for dessert. Very good.

The food and the drinks were excellent. The salmon special of the day was perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding.
