I was not impressed especially after reading all the good reviews, very disappointing and not good value for money. Would I go back, no. Would I recommend, no. The thing that also put me off is that you have to pay prior to receiving your food or drink, and if you order anything else during your meal, they want payment not giving a comfortable dining experience for me. Definitely not worth the £100 for two.

Excellent service by two young lads. Great value for money, so much food and their mango drink was amazing. Their site does say parking in bays outside which it didn’t have but we did get parked in a side road opposite so all good

My husband and the kids went to Shrimp Shack to celebrate our 15 yrs wedding anniversary as a friend of ours recommended this but our experience wasn't good at all. The waiter was wonderful and friendly but the food was not good. First of all we ordered 2 sea food Platters for 2 share, the amount on each Platter was disappointed in terms of potions, not fit for the price they change as I view it was too expensive. My youngest daughter ordered salmon pasta which was too greasy and both my kids ended up with a bellyache the following day. So my experience was not good at all and it cost us £150 which i view was too much for the portions we received.

We were lucky to be given a corner booth. The seats were comfortable. The menus were easily readable for print size. The waiter seemed flat and my friendly banter didn't cheer him up much. He brought crayons for our 7yo and she quickly read the menu and we ordered. It was good that the child portion arrived quickly and we bore a longer wait for ours. We can recommend the 'Sailors' platter as flavoursome, the Macaroni bites didn't impress our little one but he liked the fries and side order of mac-n-cheese. Not being that hungry we didn't polish off the 'Pecking Burger' and found the chicken breast very tough. Overall we would recommend it to friends, but say stick to the seafood.

The food is good, the prawns are cooked very well; the creamy cajun sauce was especially delicious. The chips are cooked well and not at all greasy. The salad is sufficient, quantity is good. The value is okay, a couple more prawns wouldn't have gone amiss. It's lively and tasty place and will likely return.

We had a fantastic experience at Shrimp Shack, the food is lovely and the portion is generous for the price. The staff are very polite, friendly and work hard. Something that stood out to me was the manager who just seemed to stand on the sideline and watch everyone work, he had his own clothes on while all others had an uniformed polo shirt, I have noticed this on both visits to shrimp shack - potentially the highest paid member of staff who watches staff work rather than be part of the team and work with them - really noticeable and unfair. Looking forward to my next trip to Shrimp Shack!

My first time at Shrimp Shake, and it didn't disappoint! The food came out piping hot, and within 15 minutes of placing our order. The service was fantastic, they were attentive and welcoming. Great value for the amount of shrimp you receive, too (we got the sharing bucket). This will be a new go-to restaurant from now on.

The loaded fries are a good idea. However, I'm not sure why you've decided to use such crispy chicken, it doesn't work. Use the same chicken that you use on the ciabatta that chicken is perfect. My friend didn't like the cod burger, for all the good ideas you have, you could come up with a shrimp burger or something better.
